Well, if you can count cutscenes, I still think one of the cheapest attacks came from God of War. After battling and puzzling through the entire Temple of Pandora for hours and hours, claiming your prize and dragging it out of the godsforsaken place, Ares apparently picks up Kratos on his 'oh shit' radar, grabs a hunk of ancient column, lobs it hundreds of miles, and PERFECTLY IMPALES Kratos, leaving him to die painfully while he watches a couple damn harpies pick up the box and carry it away like it was a present.

It was an unavoidable cutscene and obviously didn't result in a real game over, but regardless...when I first saw that, the words "Ares, you fucker," just spilled out of my mouth. Loudly.

Luckily none, although I did smash a block of ice with my foot. My bare foot.
I'm surprised I didn't destroy the controller though. Although now when I play Halo it doesn't feel the same in my hands....
