I've always been tempted to go take a look at the area, i hear it's a genuine sight to behold what has happened there since we humans have left it in peace. Just hope it doesn't turn into a "busy" tourist attraction or all that will be ruined.
Thank god they haven't forgot about that though, remember reading about the state the reactor was in a couple of years ago and wondering why the hell they hadn't fixed the faults yet.The ministry also revealed plans to build a safe shell for the exploded reactor by 2015. The new shelter will cover the original iron-and-concrete structure hastily built over the reactor that has been leaking radiation, cracking and threatening to collapse.
