Without even moving or opening his eyes "Now you didn't expected to catch me off guard that easily, did you..... Zestia, is it not?" said Badelin as he was slowly getting up and beginning to stretch.

"Excuse my rudeness yesterday...I didn't got to properly know you all... In my defense, I shall blame it all on fatigue" while revealing his face completely.

Sai stirred when she felt a nudge. "Huh wha? Oh sun's up." She remarked standing up. Kia stood as well, she yipped and sent a image of another pigeon. "Geez fine. I'll get you another bird. Should we get food first or should we just eat on the road?" She asked pulling another few arrows from her quiver beside her and grabbing her bow.

Lev woke up gradually, partly because of the sunlight shining through the curtains, and partly because of the ever present heat, which he felt had just gotten worse over the few days he had been here. Well, luckily they weren't going to hang around much longer, and their journey would preferably take them somewhere a little more chilly.

He sat up in the bed and moved his feet over the edge and down to the floor, feeling the sensation of Tatiana's fur on his toes, which meant that she was still sleeping, as was usual really. He got to his feet and stretched out before getting his new clothes from his pack, and repacking it all, making sure that everything was in order for the trip. And when he had changed into the clothes he nudged Tatiana awake with his foot.

"It's morning, get up." He said to the large pile of of orange, black, and white which was currently residing near the bed, nudging her again when he received no response other than her skin twitching a little.

Finally her head rose from the floor, looking at Lev with a mixture of sleepiness and annoyance before yawning, baring her impressive arsenal of teeth. "Time to get moving, I know the heat's making you drowsy, but the sooner we leave the better." He told her as he opened the door to indicate that they were leaving.

Tatiana got to her feet sluggishly and stretched out, digging her claws into the wooden boards underneath as she yawned a second time. But as she took her first step she felt that something was amiss, and turned her head to look back at herself. Seeing the saddlebags from earlier she turned to Lev again and shot him a poisonous glare.

"You're going to carry your share, Tatiana." Lev stated as they both headed out of the room and downstairs, quickly grabbing a bite to eat before heading down the road to sign up with the guards, Tatiana sulking all the way.

"I slept okay." Kadence replied, as she sat down in the chair she had pulled out from the table. "How about you?" she asked. She glanced around and then added, "And...have you seen Durkon this morning?"

Beneath the table Garret raised his head and looked at Sue. After a moment of silence he lay his head back down on the floor. But he kept his gaze on the bird. The wolf's tail swept back and forth across the floor, causing dirt and dust to stir.

"Better, I suppose. I was able to distract myself from pondering my life." She looked over at the door. "Durkon? Are you here?" There was no response. "I guess he's out."

Sue grew less interested in Garret and flew back onto the table.

"Ah." Kadence murmured. She frowned at Pru's comment about Durkon. "I was hoping we could head out soon." She pointed straight down at the table, indicating her Companion who was lying underneath it. "Garret is hungry so I need to get him some food before we leave the city." Kadence paused and tilted her head fractionally. "But if you want to...say goodbye." She turned her hand up and waved it slightly. "We can wait a bit."

Garret stood up and stepped out from under the table to sit next to his partner. He pawed lightly at the bag on the ground.

"You can go ahead and hunt if you want. Me and Badelin will just wait here. Besides, little miss sleepyhead isn't awake yet." Zestia said to Sai. She was referring to the still-asleep tavern girl. Shade was on the ground and was looking at Badelin, just staring at him.

"Don't mind him. He won't bite unless I tell him to. So you'd better not give me a reason to." Zestia said to Badelin.

Prudence looked to the door again and sighed. "I'm sure he'll be back soon, but, I don't know. Maybe we should just go." She stood up and Sue flew up to her shoulder. "I'll go and get my bag." Pru walked over to the guest room and grabbed her pack, then headed back into the room. "Let's go."

Kadence hesitated but Garret stopped poking at her bag and padded over to the door. "Okay." She replied. She picked up her bag and slung the strap over her shoulder. After double checking to make sure she had all of her belongings and supplies she walked over to the door and opened it. Her Companion strode outside and stopped at the street edge. Kadence exited the shop but left the door slightly ajar. Once completely outside she looked up and down the street. There were people walking in each direction at a leisurely pace but most of the crowd from the previous day seemed to be still asleep. Or perhaps they were all at a different part of the city. Either way Kadence was glad they wouldn't be fighting through crowds again. She walked over beside her Companion and the two stood still as they waited.

I wonder where he went off to. Prudence looked around the room one more time then exited out the door with Kadence. "Now what did we need to get this morning before heading off?"

"Food." Kadence replied promptly, with a grin. "If we stop by one of the inns or taverns we may also be able to find some additional people to travel with. If not..." she shrugged, "...then we'll at least be fed." Kadence began walking down the street slowly as she talked. Garret moved to her right side and increased his speed so that he stayed a bit ahead of the group. "I don't think we need any other supplies...and once we get past the gates we can stop by the stable." Kadence finished.

"hmm..." Prudence walked with Kadence. "What about a map? It'd be good to have one for, well, all sorts of reasons. Maybe we can get one on our way out of the city."

Kadence thought over the girl's response, then nodded. "We can try to find a map somewhere." Though Kadence often relied on landmarks, Garret and her own memory to get places, it still sounded like a good idea to try to find a map. Except that...Kadence wasn't sure where a map would be. The group kept walking and as they approached the main row of shops Kadence noticed a tavern sign on the far end of the street. She pointed to it. "That tavern may be open." she said.

"Alright, then." Prudence and Kadence, along with Sue and Garret, entered the small tavern and sat down in a table. A man came by and asked their order.

"Alright then I'll be back in a minute." She said walking a little ways into the woods. Kia close at her heels.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

A few minutes passed and Sai returned with three dead birds tied together on a rope and one in Kias mouth. Kia lay down where she was and began to eat the bird. "Your addicted to those things I swear."

Garret paced completely around the table once and came to a stop next to the chair Kadence was seated in. He sat down and Kadence was impressed that the waiter didn't so much as flinch when the dark wolf yawned, as the display revealed a lot of sharp teeth. She patted her Companion on the back lightly with a grin. Kadence ordered a few pieces of bread, a small serving of cooked meat, and raw meat for Garret. The man turned slightly away from Kadence and her Companion after she finished giving him the order.

"Just, the same. Minus the raw meat," Prudence told him and he walked off. She still wasn't sure about ordering things. Sue drew her attention and Pru remembered to feed the bird. She reached into the pack and sprinkled some seed on the table around her companion. Sue happily start eating.

Viktorya shifted onto her back as she dreamed in her bed, the sunlight once again streaked across her room and over her face as the now Familar sounds of the moving Crowds outside reached her ears. Her eyes snapped open, she sharply cursed as she rose quickly from her bed.

She had thought long and hard about the Lev's offer to accompany him on this quest of soughts, it would mean turning a simple matter of Inspecting some of the latest Work performed in the Art of smithing into a Moronic fools quests, but on the other hand, this was her chance to have a bit of adventure before returning to the Smithy in her village, her father would understand, he was young once too.

She dressed quickly, looks were not of importance, finding the man and his tiger before they left the city were, she collected her array of belongings and money and placed them within a pack as she kicked the bear awake, his reaction to it had not improved since the last time she performed such an act as he stretched and watched as she Ran about the room frantically getting things together.

Shouldering on her Pack she opened the door as the Bear sluggishly followed, the Duo went down the stairs and to the Inn Keeper, the look on his face once more fixed in a state of worry as the stairs creaked in protest at the bears descent.

The Inn keeper began to answer the oh so important questions the Woman asked in a rushed voice, he answered in a slow pace, almost as if he was enjoyed taunting the woman

"A man and a Tiger you say? Hmmm...Yes..Now that you mention it that does ring a bell.. Let me think..Oh yes!.. a man like that just left a minute ago..Probably heading towards the Gaurds to sign up for that foolish quest"

Viktorya gave thanks as she walked down the steps into the Suns warmth and walked with the moving crowds at a hurried pace trying to catch up with Lev.

As the crowd began to thin she saw the orange, black, and white tail of a tiger and the back of a mans head, she began to increase her speed as she ran towards the pair, the Bear remained at his Sluggish pace.

She had caught up with the pair and began to slow her pace

"Dr Markov!" She exclaimed in a panting breath

Lev stopped and turned around as he heard someone shout his name behind him, and was surprised to see Viktorya running up to him, seemingly out of breath.

Tatiana, on the other hand, merely glanced at her, and quickly recognized her as the owner of a certain, not-too-sharp, ursus maritimus. Her response to this was to pretend she never saw Viktorya, continuing walking ahead of Lev, and hope that he also just let them be.

Lev shook his head slightly as he spotted his companion continuing on without him, but didn't do anything to stop her, as she was likely still angry about having to carry the saddlebags. Instead he once again turned his attention towards the lady blacksmith.

"So you decided to tag along for the time being?" He asked her, casually glancing over her shoulder at the lumbering brute slowly catching up with her through the relatively thin crowd.

Sorry about the late response, lost track of time while playing some Crusader Kings.

Viktorya paused to catch her breath before she began to speak

"As long as im welcome, Always nice to travel with a little Conversation, and its safer y'know? bandits and such, i'd be out of your hair once we reach the next town over if you wish"

The bear reached her and looked at the man she was talking to, gears in his mind began to whir, this man seemed awfully familiar, had they seen him before? He could not recall exactly, he shook the dust of the roads that had collected on his Fur coat off.
