Same has happened to me, but sometimes your imagination gets the better of you. Perhaps it a dim reflection of your own face?

The creepiest thing that happened to me was when I was living in a Trailer/Mobile Home I was in the backroom working on my new Bicycle (Not really knew, I use to bbuild them using other bike parts).

Anyways I'm sitting there, putting a newly acquired fork on my bike, and all is silent. Then out of nowhere I hear this growling sound. I know every animal that hangs out in my neighborhood and nothing made that noise. It sounded like it came from right outisde this big open window. I quickly got up and looked out the window and saw nothing.

Then the sound came again just after I started working again. I just put down my tools, walked out of the room, and started watching "The Green Mile"

Later I found out it was one of my friends in the neighborhood. Asshole hid on top of my trailer by climbing up a nearby tree. Scared the crap out of me. That still pisses me off. I got him back by sabotaging his brake system on his back.

Captain asshole decides to go down this huge hill in the woods with trees on either side of the path.

I think I scared him more. He didn't crash, but damn near completely lost control and hit a tree.

Fun Fact: Since I built my own bikes, when I was still new to it I once had my handle bars break off (Bad weld) in mid air after a I hit a 3 foot tall ramp. Somehow I was able to control the bikes landing using my weight to steer until I could safely stop. I now don't do anything remotely dangerous when I used to be the local daredevil. Having to pay for your own insurance really puts things into perspective.

Well, something that keeps on occurring to me. Each and every time the clock passes six, and I'm all alone at home, I keep hear the news from the television in the living room.

And each and every time I go over to see if it's turned on, It's not.
When I walk away, I still hear a slight sound from the news anchor.

IF IT'S A PRANK, I'M NOT AMUSED DAMN IT!
lol creepy yet funny just sit in the room with the tv with a gun and see what happens

On more than one occasion, a scared little girl has called my phone number, almost crying, telling me to take her home. It's creepy as hell, it's like something out of a horror movie.

Seeing a face at my window while playing a game.

I freaked out, went white and ran out of the room. When I came back, it was gone and there was no sign of anyone outside. No foot prints, no nothing.

I used to hear people talking through my speakers every now and again when I lived in Tacoma.

Turns out the powered speakers that where at the time hooked up to the computer were picking up some old HAM operator's transmissions when he plugged in his high power amp.

I cant rightly decide what creeps me out the most, so I've a few good yarns.

First off, a friend of mine and I were walking down the road from his house to mine. Now, you can see the top of my shed standing a good 18-20 inches over the top of my back yard fence. As we approach, what should we see but the roof section of the shed float up and spin. Now, I don't know as to the truth of what we saw, but damned if if didn't scare our 4th-grade selves so bad we turned tail and ran back to his house. Watched the first two Ninja Turtles movies before we left the house again.

Then there was the time I realized a man with a dog had followed me from the local park. Never said a word to me. Just walked about 50 paces back. I am completely unapologetic and unashamed when I further admit I scooped up an empty beer bottle, chucked it at the man, and bolted.

Lastly, I don't know how many of you outside of my fine state have heard of San Antonio's Children on the Tracks, but for those of you that do know of this particular legend will know exactly how disquieting it was to be in a car that stalled over those tracks. Nothin' came of it, as you might expect, but when you are in a car and it dead stops over a train track...

It's was around about 3:30am, I'm walking home from my girlfriend's house, She only live's around the corner from me,

It's late, dark, quite..
I get about 3 house's from my gate, and I hear this crazy groan,
I can't see a thing, no street light's, so I stop,
As I turn to keep walking, some crazy, drug-filled drunk woman grab's my shirt,
She's only about 5foot tall, I didn't see her coming, since i'm 6.3, I shit brick's. I didn't know what happend, She can barely keep her eye's only.. she pull's my shirt, begging for money at 3:30am,

Then when I told her i'm not giving her money she start's telling me I have to go get her cat..

It would be the creepiest thing to happen to me, even though it's not that bad,
Still scared the shit out of me.

I find out the next morning she was banging at my friend's apartment asking the same question's,

That's around 2km away from mine...

Of course I find this thread when it's nighttime, well here goes anyway. I've seen lots of creepy things although I think at the top of my list was a few years ago during the weekend. I was up late, doing stuff on the computer and watching Pulp Fiction (had the dvd running in the background). Anyway, you know that part where the girl needs the adrenaline shot through her chestbone, well right as they jammed that needle into her (it's 2am mind you) Lightning strikes outside. That scared the hell out of me.
lol same now im gonna have a hard time sleeping :p

My creepy story isn't that creepy, but it scared me for a few seconds.
In the series of books called The Wheel of Time there is the big bad God called The Dark One. His real name must never be spoken. You shouldn't even think it, since he can focus on you if you do. So I was walking home from a friend of mine, the one who introduced me to the books. We had been talking about the books, trying to make up theories for some of the mysteries not yet solved. I was going through stuff in my head, and just as I thought about the Dark Ones name the streetlight right above me went a bit brighter, making this high humming noise. I looked up as it went brighter and louder then POOF! It almost exploded. Needless to say, I walked pretty fast home, trying not to think of The Dark Ones name.

Probably the parents coming home, first jumping in fright as they see a 17 year old nut job at the sofa with a gun, glaring insanely at the TV.

Well, maybe not a gun, as it's hard to acquire... Maybe a kitchen knife. Yeah...

A while back, a new guy came to my school. He was there for about 6 months before he left again, and for most of those 6 months I never spoke to or interacted with him. The only time we spoke was about a month before he left, he tapped me on the shoulder and when I turned around, he told me my name and address.

Also, some nights I swear to god I hear people crying downstairs. It doesn't happen too often, though.

EDIT: This just happened a few minutes ago at time of writing. I was lying on my bed listening to Tool, when a discarded lollipop stick on the ground flew up by itself and hit my leg. I'm pretty freaked out atm. 0_o

Number 1: I was at home by myself playing video games, and I was quite young at the time. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I hear this loud CLANG from downstairs, so I ran into the bathroom, and hid in the bathtub for 2 hours. Not my favorite day in life.

Number 2: You know how sometime you just keep waking up and you think your awake but your still dreaming? Well, The first time I woke up, I walked downstairs, and heard a noise like crawling, and then i see there's about 10 000 cockroches all on my curtains, crawling all around them. Then I woke up again, walked downstairs, and once again, I hear the crawling, and I see the cockroches, but they are diffrent, they are pure black, and seem faster and angrier than before. Then i woke up again. Walked downstairs, and this time, the cockroches were back but there was blood all over the walls, mostly around the area the cockroches were. Then I woke up for real, walked downstairs, and I wasn't sleeping, but my mind was playing tricks on me, and once again, I saw the cockroches, and this time, they jumped. They all jumps at me at once. I fell to the ground and felt like I was having a heart attack. Then I recoved, was sweaty as hell, and was more paranoid than usual for the rest of the day.

There's this crazy old lady in my city whos house and car was burned down by thugs, now she lives in the street covered in bin bags and is aptly called "the bag lady". There was one time me and two friends were out around town, we walked past some bushes and she launched herself out of the bushes, covered nose to knees in binbags screaming at us.

We all ran manically fast and as soon as we were out of sight we all stopped an laughed about it, the creepy part is that she keep turning up and standing outside my workplace for hours at a time now. Creepiest old lady i've ever had the un fortunate luck of meeting.

I was sitting next to a forty-ish guy, watching a TV screen in a museum. We were sitting next to eachother for lack of space. Then he started patting me on the side, and I got a bit nervous and after a while I decided to leave. Kind of like in The Catcher in the Rye.

On my way back from Jersey to Detroit, I once stopped at gas station in Loganton, PA to make a pit stop.

The toilet is in a small room behind a door. There's an old man lurking when I first go in. I lock the door behind me. When the stream starts, the door handle starts to jiggle. First lightly, but then with a bit of force.

The door pops right open as if the old timer has had practice at it.

He has a map in his hands. I'm still peeing.

He walks up right beside me, his shoulder to mine, and holds out this map in front of us and pretends to be lost and asking for directions while looking at my junk.

I'd been on the road a while and it was one of those long pees. I just stood there and explained I'm not from around there... eagerly awaiting for my bladder to empty.

No sooner did the last drop fall then I got out of there.

Crafty old predator.

Couple odd things actually.

First one, I was up late as usual. I had left my window open, so I went to close it while looking out the window. I saw a figure across my street. My neighbor was just standing there, looking out into the dark apparently. She wasn't doing anything at all. Just stood there. I checked 10 min. later, she was still there, staring at nothing. Eventually she went back inside, but she was out there for a while.

Second, my bf and I stopped to get some gas after seeing Kickass. It was raining, and it was about 1 am. We were the only ones at the station, and everything in the area was closed. We walked into the gas station, and there was this raspy voice on a small radio/recorder reciting creepy parts of the Bible. The entire place was quiet aside from that. Eventually I called out and this guy with really long hair and long beard came to the register. While we were buying gas, he had this sort of Zen vibe about him. We were kinda weirded out at how calm he was with the radio verses talking about slaughtering people.

Recently, we were at a friend's house, and a 12mm bullet dropped out of my sweater pocket. It didn't belong to any of us and we didn't know anyone who it could've belonged to.
