I would try to trap him with a magic circle against evil spell and then, foolishly, try to challenge him in a mental battle in order to learn as much forbidden knowledge as possible. Assuming that Cthulhu wouldn't break the circle and evaporate me or melt my brain while engaged in mental battle, I would turn mad from the knowledge and write indecipherable scribblings on a book made out of human flesh and bones.
Oh, and I would start the One and True Cthulhu cult and destroy all the rest of those poseur cults before trying to descend humanity into total darkness.
Now, assuming I wasn't a character in Eternal Darkness or something along those lines, I would have a heart attack from the almighty horror and die. Simple as pie.

Divide him by zero. Sure, I'd destroy the universe and then some, but at least I could brag about killing Cthulhu. Then again, I really couldn't, being dead and all.

Probably don a stupid red hat and write Cthulhu on the wall and see if I can fight him off with an ideantical twin... Though my assumptions are probably wrong and I haven't woken up in a game of Scribblenauts... meh... and I really wanted to wear that hat too...
I'd put a gun to my head, yell "Persona!", pull the trigger, summon Death, Satan, Jesus, Beelzebub, Odin and Ghost Rider, brag about killing Cthulhu, and reminisce about how awesome Shin Megami Tensei is.
