"Duke Nuke Forever dumbed down for consoles" LOL, this has made my day.
How can you dumb down Duke Nukem for consoles? WTF, Duke Nukem is hardly the most sophisticated pc game series ever and I find it astounding that lack of buttons on a console controller can be consider a valid excuse for a two weapon limit. Setting aside that many previous generation fps's on consoles somehow mananged it and many still do *cough* Half Life 2, *cough* Fallout, *cough* Borderlands. Not so much as dumbing down for console players, more like dumbed down for players who have the IQ of an amoeba who has taken a few blows to the nucleus.
I wasn't going to pick up DNF anyway, not really a fan of the Duke and I always expected DNF to crash and burn when it was released, although admittedly I'm little suprise why. I expected the long wait for the release would be the final nail in DNF, as something that takes over a decade to make can never even come close to expectatiosn. Instead it seems Duke having set out to buck the trends in modern fps's has fallen victim to same trappings these other current gen fps's have fallen into, quiteironic erm... humorously tragic.
