We all have that one video game franchise that was fun for a while but 15 installments later it has become a hellish abomination. Post the video game franchise you want to end here.
I say Pokemon. It was fun when I was 10 but 12 games later it needs to be put to bed. The cash cow has been milked dry. It is time to eliminate these annoying creatures. Metapod smoothies anyone?
I think they at least need to do something more inventive with the Pokémon games.Like an MMORPG or something, but the whole "Beating the 8 Gym Leaders and defeat the pokémon on the box to save the world from Team somethingorother, then beat the pókemon league before completing the pókedex and getting a congratulatory pat on the back and dying a little inside."
Anyone here for Pokemon Kart?
I couldn't of said it better my self.
If I'm spending that much time on a game,I better feel like I got something out of it, other than a pat on the back.
FUN would be nice, not saying that the first couple of times its not,it just gets repetitive after awhile.
1.go in to the wild
2.wait until you get something(kind of sounds like fishing)
3.if it is not the one your looking for run
3.5 repeat step 1 and 2 until desired Pokemon
4.If it is,fight it and catch it (assuming you don't kill it because your Pokemon is too strong,if it is go back to step 1)
5.you got another Pokemon yeah, now you get to.....
1.go in to the wild
2.wait until you get something(kind of sounds like fishing)
3.if it is too strong you run,or battle it with a different Pokemon
4.repeat until it has enough exp to go up one level(which takes almost forever)
5.repeat until...your battery runs out,an intelligent thought enters your brain that says
"this is not fun",or your hands fall off, what ever comes first.
Now you do this with how many Pokemon?????
No wonder that ash,the main character in the TV show, has not got any father on his quest to become a Pokemon master. The whole process take so long that the people who made Pokemon, will eventfully run out of ideas and cancel it before he even caught all of the original 150.
