Sadly I didn't have to fake it. But on the other hand I also didn't get to stay home. I had the wonderful luck to end up with parents that didn't care and sent me anyways. D< Seriously, it sucked.

No, and I couldn't even if I would try it. In my 5 years of high school, I may have stayed home 5 times max, if not less, simply because my parents would simply kick me to school if I was anything but crippled.

Well, actually, even thén they did it. I had a severely sprained wrist, had a doctor's appointment for it in that week to check if it was broken, and what did dad do? He just kicked me on my bike, so I had to cycle about 6 KM's with a severely sprained wrist, tears of pain in my eyes. Fuck my parents.

When I was at school I did, especially during the first few years of secondary school when I was getting bullied. Don't do it since I've got to uni, if I don't go to a lecture it's because I'd rather stay in bed and can't be arsed to get up. Even though I could lie quite easily, there's not much point.

Yeah I used to, but now that I'm in college I don't need an excuse, so if I don't feel like going I just don't.
This.

I used to fake sick all the time in Junior High and High school. Now that I'm in college, I just use ridiculous excuses that usually involve killing off a family member to get undeserved extentions.

I wish I was faking it right now.

Sore throat, fever, headackes and dizziness. Plus I still have a sick stomach, and coughing makes it all worse. Hell, I can't even play Borderlands now, and yesterday I was so tired I fell asleep before 9pm.

So many times. Its gotten to the point where my mom will not believe I'm sick even if I really am.

Oh yes, all the time.

Still do, my attendance is about 85% because of it...

I used to do it back in high school. Now, there's no point in faking. You miss class, you fail. Sometimes, I've just got to show up sick.

I used to skip Biology all the time because the teacher was terrible.

We spent weeks going over the exact same thing, we would sit in class for half of the time doing nothing while she sat on her computer sipping coffee and when she couldn't be bothered she just put on some 1980s Biology programme.

I even complained about her complete lack of teaching skills but got replied with "Mrs B has been here a long time and a very good teacher."

I eventually just started going to the library and teaching my self the course and was better off for it. She didn't care or even notice, but I got caught by an assistant head who made me go back to class for the last few months.

I never faked being sick itself, but I once faked the severity of an illness. Basically I was fit enough to go to class but really didn't feel like it. But that was waaay back in elementary school. Apart from that, I only missed when I was really sick.

In university though, I missed 2 classes: first time because it was a crazy exam week and I went to study instead, second time we had just finished our midterms and my friends and I decided to go for a long lunch outside the campus and missed about an hour of class that afternoon.
