No because the film industry has been around since 1895 and all the remakes/reimagining/sequels since 2000 are the majority of all what Hollywood shat out and already exceed every single good movie or high art film ever made PERIOD. I'm a gamer and I haven't played any of the games you mentioned. And I don't feel sorry for myself, either. There's nothing wrong with not enjoying video games. There are plenty of other great hobbies and things to do with your time.

Sim City 3000 (we managed to play this against each other: start at one date, you have until another date to make as much money as possible. It's really fun!)
Counter-Strike: Source (for about an hour, offline, VS me. I think he got one kill... we have rather different natural skill levels)

I imagine there's a lot of younger people on this forum because it is usually a fairly early stage in emotional maturity that you come to realise that different people derive interest from different things. It is very self centered to not be able to see outside of your own wants and be confused by this. That's a pretty brutal assessment, I understand.
For instance, my mum loves her gardening. Absolutely adores it. To me it's a horrific experience that I'd rather never do in my whole life. Different strokes for different folks and all.

A little, because they always have a 'wtf' face when me and my gamer friends start talking. I mean, when three quarters of your friend group are looking at you like "Words come from your mouth but they make no sense to me!" because you're talking about the new shit in AC:R, you gotta feel bad because they're being excluded, and that's kinda shitty.
I mean, when it's three quarters of the group you're in, there's other shit for them to talk about. But I once spent the day with three of my friends, two of whom I grew up with playing video games, and one of their girlfriends. She spent the whole day confused as fuck, because the only thing we all had in common was we knew her boyfriend. We were friends because we all like manga, video games, Darren Shan books, metal music...

Not at all; we started a game of Halo 1, going through the whole calibration process after you wake up from the cryo-bay. It's true, maybe something like... I don't know, Sam and Max would have had a simpler control scheme, but she isn't stupid, she knows what's going on, she knows that there is a control scheme. To put that in context, I once taught my grandmother how to use her very first computer; the person knowing there is some sort of control scheme is a bigger thing that most people realise. You and I just look at a controler or keyboard and will probably have a rough idea of how to control the character, my mum at least knew that these buttons and sticks did control the character.
