I think it's ok, but the fact that Naruto (the character) was bad at absolutely everything made me stop watching it, but I've started watching it again when Fellwarden said that Naruto actually becomes badass later on in Shippuuden.

As long as it isn't filler episodes

I like how they really expand on the fights from the manga and animate them pretty well (fight with Kakuzu and Hidan and current fight with Pain, even though some animations in that one are awful)

The main characters annoy me now though since they don't really have a reason for their motives anymore
how bad did pain look in the last ep where the wind pushed on his face while falling, i said to myself omfg wtf this is really shitty animation

I still love Naruto Shippuden. Of course.
I don't any reason to dislike that.
Not a big fan of the almost 200 episodes of fillers in the first series, though.

Bleach, I still watch it, but it slowly becoming Dragon Ball Z.

1-New enemy
2-Training Montage
3-Get ass kicked
4-Endangers main character
5-Ragekills him/her.
6-Peace then "Stronger" new enemy.

EDIT: I will say, my new favorite anime would have to be FMA: brotherhood.
Such a sad anime :'(

I like it as an anime but the fans ruined it for me.
YES!!!!!

For a shonen jump series, Naruto is pretty average and I had no strong feeling towards it after watching it. Its the Narutard fans that made me hate it.

I liked it up untill episode 134 (minus the fillers ofcourse).

After that the show (aswell as the comic ofcourse) went tits up.

I like the manga, but can't watch the anime as watching anime makes me feel like a 16 year old again.

Beats Bleach, which just feels like it's been a really long single battle since ~chapter 90 (start of soul society arc). Naruto still has downtime and character development and stuff, which is nice.

I liked the manga in the beginning, but then it started feeling like the same thing was happening over and over again and just....I don't know. All the characters and plot devices became increasingly annoying and/or boring to me. I read it again for a while when the Akatsuki appeared, but then all of the interesting members died and I went back to finding the story annoying again. I haven't touched it since the whole "Hey Itachi was actually good!!1!" thing, save for maybe a few chapters past that.

I never did bother with the anime. Seeing a few episodes of it was plenty enough for me.

Yeah I like the subbed anime, it's good, albeit the large amount of fillers I've no real interest in, it's still good, as is the manga... stopped watching as shipuuden began though, that's when I started solely reading it, and even that's dragging a bit

They're basically all the same thing. He's just using them differently.
The only different move
he's learning now is the Final Getsuga.

so wait ichigo's only useful when a demon takes him over.
so how is that any different than naruto who only has his skills because of the fox demon who possessed him
same thing argument fail.
Naruto didn't acquire sage mode because he had a fox inside him.
Naruto didn't learn Rasengan because he had a fox inside him.
Ichigo has his Getsuga Tenshou because the hollow showed it to him.
Ichigo has his mask because he has a hollow inside him.

Same thing? I think not.
No knowledge fail.
silence you, you have slandered it enough with your slanderous slander.

ichigo has getsuga tenshou because zangetsu told him it's name, which when used makes it 1000 times more powerful.
the black getsuga tenshou is perhaps somehow aided because of the hollow inside of him, but lets not forget that ichigo friggin earnt that by showing his hollow side who da man is, whereas the ninetale fox is stuck behind a friggin gate. How does that pose a threat?
and ichigo is at least quiet when he needs to be.
and of course he has a mask because of his hollow side, ITS A HOLLOW MASK.
ichigo had to struggle to get the ability to use that mask, just like other visards.
Naruto just strolls down there and says "gimme some chakra".

PS. i do like naruto, not shippuden, but naruto. I just don't like him defaming the awsome Bleach.
And thus, he learnt the black getsuga because of the hollow. or else he would still be using his blue getsuga in bankai form.
The kyuubi's stuck behind a gate to bloody seal him up. He's chakra's still immense enough to take over Naruto when he lets down his guard.
That's the point, Ichigo has that power because he has the hollow. HE RELIES ON THE HOLLOW FOR EVERYTHING, including reviving him when he got pwned by the 4th espada.
Remove the hollow, Ichigo's just another idiot with immense reiatsu with no other skills and a uselsss bankai. Remove the Kyuubi, Naruto still has sage mode, rasengans, and a massive chakra pool.
Naruto killed 5 of the pains. Ichigo DIED from the 4th espada.

PS. I love Bleach as much as Naruto. I just think Bleach's main character is a fail. Hollow Ichigo FTW!
immense reiatsu, massive chckra pool, whats the diff?
same with ransengans and getsugas, itchigos bankai without black gesuga is NOT useless, it's still bloody &^&*(N fast, as well as sharp. and if he had no hollow, it he wouldnt have to spend energy supressing it or have it feeding off his soul. So shaddup.
PS he still has that thing where he gets the blue eyes as well!

and naruto does not use the same rasengan in a different way?
2 of them does not make it different, neither does a bigger one. ichigo just doesn't name all his versions of the same attack.

so they both have a normal attack :rasengan-getsuga
and soon they'll both have the uber attack which naruto already has.

The premise was good. The starting squad and personalities had plenty of potential (The orphan with a very traumatic past, the clown who wants to change, the normal girl and the mysterious, laid back sensei who kicks ass). The action parts were promising with the heavy emphasis on trickery and predicting your opponent (Kakashi v Zabuza).

Then it was all thrown away. And even before the end of the Chunin Exam arc we have only a mediocre anime left. By the time the Sasuke Defects arc ends we have a bad anime. By the time the fillers start, we have a terrible anime.

And then, slowly, like something unmentionable circling down the drain, we hit Shippuuden and new levels of suck.
