I have an authentic WW1 German Helmet. Bought it from the owner of a small B&B on the Somme whose grand-father found it (among many, many other things) whilst field-walking his fields.

Only issue with it is that the roof of the helmet is mostly rusted out.

I have a giant cardboard cut-out of Gears of War 2 when it was being sold at Gamestop.

One of my teachers had a friend who worked there, and she gave it to me.
This, except it's a giant God of War II cut out. And I got it because I used to work there. *shudders*

Also, I have a box set of Coheed and Cambria's Neverender concert (only a few thousand made), and I got it signed by Claudio Sanchez, the lead singer/guitarist. One of my favorite things I own.

I own an autographed version of Reinventing The Steel by Pantera. It even has Dimebag Darrel's signature on it so yeah i guess it is rare/hard to come by.

I own a near mint condition SA dagger used by Hitler's brownshirts during his rise to power before they were eliminated in 'The Night of Long Knives'. It has the words "Alles Fur Deustchland" inscribed in large, eloquent letters on the side of the blade, and comes with the Nazi symbol still attached to the handle and with the original sheath. It was made by Carl Eichorn of Solingen in 1933. It cost me £600. I also own a second class Iron Cross from the second world war, still with the original ribbon and envelope in which it was issued.

That's just badass. Great story, great item. :D

OT: just animation stuff--cels, genga, posters & other rare items.
I have autographs and such, too, but I don't really consider them "rare".

I do have moratorium videos/movies/music, tho. While not technically a big deal now, with the internet and companies like Di$ney churning dvds out hand over white-gloved fist, having first-edition VHS tapes of, say, Lady and the Tramp and the penis-drawn-on-the-cover-art first pressing of The Little Mermaid technically catches a pretty penny.

Also have a 1st edition of Pearl S. Buck's translations of All Men Are Brothers (or Shui Hun Chuan), the story of the 108 outlaws in China during the Sung Dynasty.

WTB: megalodon tooth or mammoth itemz, pst.

Ermmm... Assassins Creed 2 statue thingy... not exactly rare. But not common either.

Also, Doctor Who Davros Edition only 10,000 ever made... but that's still a lot.

Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS1, not rare, but I live in the UK, and it was only sold in Japan and America. So... is that rare? Can anyone confirm?

I've got a R.O.B. It was such a pain in the ass having to spin up the tops and move sloooowly over to the pressure pad to let push down the button to open the gate so scientist dude could go through.
