But isn't being assassinated an extremely private moment?
Lawl XD
Eh?

I was being serious.

Some people have this crazy idea that they want to die with someone else, but I've always felt that I want to die alone. Not lonely, just when I do finally go, I want to go into my room and lie down on the bed.

Also, Midnight Sonata by Beethoven would be nice.

No harm, No foul, right?
Good way to test that ol' hero complex, actually.
On a related note:
Wouldn't it be funny if the dude, y'know, fights back. With his OWN gun. In the floor.

Ok. I actually did some digging "IE read comments on the blog page" and it turns out the guy's a pro comedian in japan. According to one of the commenters who has basic cable over there, Comedians there are constantly doing this to each other, pranking and scaring each other for entertainment. This guy in the vid has a 4chan meme already from previous times of him making that 'panic face' and Im sure he realized soon into it it was a prank (again) and went along with it. I repeat he was not a random dude off the streets.

See what happens when we stop passing judgement instantly and do 3 minutes of research (comment reading)?
I don't want to hear anymore griping from you gripers now, America's scare-tactics takes innocent people off the streets. Now start laughing like you should've from the beginning.
I think this bears repeating since it seems not many people bothered to read it.

All those twats laughing at him, I hope they see a guy get hit by a bus on the way home, so they know what it's like.

For some people it could be traumatic but I think most people would laugh when they realised it was all a big prank. Hopefully he got some kind of prize though to make up for it. What's up with the 24 clock at the end?

Wow that is not only crossing the line but ripping it up and eating it for lunch. That could do some serious psychological damage. Would you like to think you were being shot at?

I personally thought that was fucking hilarious.
A prank's not a prank unless it's that elaborate.

I felt sorry for the poor guy.
I know for a fact, my brother would piss his pants at this, it depends on your humour, if you've got quite a sardonic sense of humour, I guess you'll like it.
Did they ask him if they could show it on TV? Most shows won't show the clip without the persons permission.

What makes most of those shows funny is that they're putting people in ridiculous situations to make them fall off something or into something. This is just putting a poor man into a semi-realistic situation, where any human being ever would shit themselves.

I'd say it's funny to watch, when you know it's not real. But I know I'd hate being humiliated like that. I guess they'll stop when one guy tries to fight back against any actors that are "attacking" him.

The Japanese invented the thought of living as though you were dying. To them, every moment was to be savored. Nowadays, most Japanese have a more Western view towards death, i.e. they are afraid of it. The producers of this show probably wanted to poke fun at the fact that Japanese now react like Americans in these situations.
