Yeah... You see, that's part of the reason so many people hate EA. They seem to be incapable of learning from their mistakes. What you're suggesting is what any rational person would do. EA has proven time and again that they're not rational, or at least that they don't understand the industry. Every time they do something stupid or crappy, people always say they've learned their lesson, only to have them do it again the next chance they get.
OT:
I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, Star Wars games have been really crappy for about the past 5 years or more. Like it or not EA does tend to put out
adequate games if nothing else, which is a step up for the franchise at this point.
On the other hand, it's EA, so you can bet all games will be bundled with all manner of crappy anti-consumer business practices.
So, yeah, nothing really to get worked up about over all. Failing franchise is being taken over by a company that will likely make decent games out of it that no one will want to play because of their business practices.
