"Don't worry sir! I'm not a real police officer!" crowd: OMG!!! "You're on TV!!!!!" *points to camera*
if it was inaccessible how did he get there?Eldritch Warlord said:In Halo 2 I was playing a game of Big Team CTF on Containment (the DLC snowy map with the huge bases). A guy on my team holding the game winning flag had brought it to our base and said "I must show you the secret of the flag!" and proceeded to place the flag in an inaccessible area. Flags didn't reset by the way, needless to say he received a bad review.
I actually feel like it really does, and yeah my finger never leaves the B button during a battle.Trendkill6 said:Adding to the pokemon, I was always told that holding down B while attacking increases your chance for a critical hit.
The bad part is that it's become an uncontrolable thing that when I play pokemon I hold down the B button and dont realize I'm doing it >.<
This. Except, I think I was told to hold down B and keep tapping A. I thought it worked too, because it seemed like the little Pokemon were hopelessly trapped by my uncontrollable gaming cheats, but it was just my mind playing tricks on me.ohgodalex said:It's A+B+Down, you fool!Triforceformer said:That pressing B alot will let you catch the pokemon more easily when you throw the ball.
There are so many in Pokemon. All the unexplained myths and legends and unavailable Pokemon in the later games don't do anything to help this.
I think Pokemon has so many of these because it has a young fanbase, and the internet was not a viable tool to receive confirmation of rumors back in the old days.
Actually, Cresselia can be found without any special circumstances, you just go to the port town (west-most city) and talk to either the guy at the boat to iron island or someone inside the house right next to the boat. Unfortunately, Cresselia is one of those obnoxious pokemon that run around the worldmap like total dicks.AlexTheBucket2112 said:Well, after seeing how easy the game is with it. I know it is the only way to get darkrai and cressela (I think), but you can steal other pokemon, get full on all Item, 1-hit KOs, etc.
He didn't, he dropped the flag so that it would land there.DeathSnipa1992 said:if it was inaccessible how did he get there?Eldritch Warlord said:In Halo 2 I was playing a game of Big Team CTF on Containment (the DLC snowy map with the huge bases). It's pretty amazing how so many of these myths were started by video game magazines, especially as April fools' jokes. Kids are gullible, they should know better!YYZed said:i really prestiges gaming magazine, like the nintendo one from back in the day or something claimed that if you had a dragonite in pokemon blue and he had a certain amount of experience and you encountered a pokemon and lvled him in some crazy specific spot it would evolve into yoshi. Being a HUGE fan of yoshi i of course attempted it many times but apparently it was a april fools joke.
I was told it was down and AColinberan said:Oh god I know that one, I did it subconciously after awhile, but I think I did right arrow + B spam.Triforceformer said:That pressing B alot will let you catch the pokemon more easily when you throw the ball.

Totally fell for it too! Spent a couple months on 56k internet trying to read about if someone finally figured out how to get that damn gold triangle.viper_h said:I fell afoul of the Zelda Ocarina of Time Triforce rumours when they first started up, causing me to delete all my saves and try ridiculous game runthroughs. Positive side is I got really good at the first three dungeons!
I'm sure there'll be stories of the Mario 64 "Luigi code" and the like.
