id rather not have any, since i heard imaginary friends (aKa fictional characters) dont stop bullets very well. Then again, i guess they could be useful as distraction if they were visual, so id guess id settle for Cthulhu... i doubt anyone would even try to see if the bullets go through him, and if they did, i doubt they'd be aiming near me ...

Altair and Ezio from Assassin's Creed 1 & 2. Aside from all the laughs I would get at the interaction between the two, I would also get major protection.
I don't need body guards, anyways. I'll just take the two for my own amusement.

Bryan Mills, Liam Neeson's character in Taken.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

Dude is not to be messed with.

Butler from the Artemis Fowl series of books.
Ah! I remember the days when I used to read those. I should probably go read them again...

On topic, though, I think I would go with either Butler's sister, or Qui-Gon Jinn.

I would only need Gutts from Berserk to protect me.I know that he is kinda of a lone wolf type. But having him as a bodyguard would be kick ass.

I'll take Ghost in the Shell's Major Motoko Kusanagi.

If not her, Gordon Freeman or Fawkes from Fallout 3 would probably work as well.

Let's see... for my bodyguards I'd need a whole squad. Kind of like the president, but much cooler.

Cmdr. Jane Shepard -> Sarcastically witty team lead
Joanna Dark -> Ridiculously hot blow stuff up chick
Ada Wong -> Icy cool zombie killing femme fatale
Cortana -> Smooth talking tech-y girl
Morrigan (Dragon Age) -> Super magic powers and crazily revealing witch outfits
Sarah Kerrigan -> Stealthy assassin in sexy form fitting tech suit
Seong Mi Na -> Close combat expert for "personal" protection

Can anyone see the angle I'm working here?

So long as we are talking fictional... Ting and Kham... two Tony Jaa's... even Chuck Norris wouldn't try it.

A group, the Noghri from the Star Wars Thrawn trilogy, cuning, silent, and deadly, but amazingly loyal, I'd have to lie and say I'm distantly related to the Skywalker's though, as for one person I would say Boba Fett, but no amount of extended universe can fix the lucky blind shot of Han, so I'll go with Wrex, the toughest Krogan bastard this side of the Citadel.
