The death of

Wash and Book in Firefly, though Wash's was worse, it was just completely unexpected and out of the blue,"I am a leaf on the wind see how I-", but it made the movie a lot better for me by having such sad moments

To be exact this guy isn't a fictional character
It really hit me when John Dillinger died. I recently watched the movie and I was so angry because his friend ratted him out. He wasn't supposed to die like that!

Well there is the one in

William? Like, what the fuck! He didn't do anyone any wrong? Ray and Thomas are one step below Hitler and THEY walk away? Fuck you Techland!

In Guild Wars
Prince Rurik gets trapped by a fallen tree during an avalanche, and your character helplessly watches on as he gets beheaded by a dwarf for "trespassing". I was like "Rurik nooooooooooo!" as it happened. It doesn't help that the game used to have still faces in its cut-scenes, so my character was calling out emotionally with a big grin on his face...

I was moved when Chris died in skins. I struggle to associate with characters in more fantastic fiction but those kind of characters in settings I can see my friends in.

Big Boss from MGS4. I bawled like a child at his death.

This is good.... Isn't it?

Yeah, that's when the tears pretty much set in.

And one that pissed me off:

Nariko from Heavenly Sword.

Really? I play a 5 hour game and I get a prettier looking but less blatant game over movie for an ending?

Dogmeat!!.....I was so upset when the stupid dog ran into a group of super mutants without full health...needless to say the entire bastard wasteland suffered. Yes I can get that perk but they can't replace dogmeat nothing can!

<spoiler=harry potter>Why the hell did Dobby have to die!?!?...Why couldn't you have killed someone else JK, like Ron, why did it have to be Dobby!?! I wept like a small girl for an hour

I've always mourned over the death of Paul Muad'Dib when he went into the desert. Sure he did
come back later as a blind preacher and eventually defy his eventually tyranical sister

And Lucius at the end of The Village. You never see a definitive death scene, but you know . . . you just know . . .

And I'm probably the only one that really mourned her but I REALLY hated to see
Amanda die at the end of Saw III

Well Firs off Brave heart, I cried so hard when that one English bastard gets his leg cleaved off by Wallace.

Gollom in the third LOTR all he was, was misunderstood and just need some meds for the split personality problem, should know *I am actually Paranoid Schizophrenic, and bipolar.*

All the people in megaton after I saved them from the atomic bomb, then tough john or whatever in crater side supply's told me "I see you, don't even try it", at that point I killed every person in megaton, and in mourning I left a plunger Upright in front of the gate for every person I killed, but planting 60 frag mines all around town, then sniping the preacher of Adam, and sitting back with bloody mess on and watching the fun, was kind of uplifting.

Also with dog meat there is a counsel command the flag him essential which means no matter what he will only ever be knocked unconscious. setessential 6a772 1

Zombies although not Fictional, *just the overlords want us to believe that so we forget they are Lizard people from mars after Venus crashed into the earth* because they were people too.

Also Jesus *Pics or it didn't happen* <-- Just joking.

I'm with you there.

Still, I can't believe no one has mentioned Cowboy Bebop yet.

Spike's death was so tragic. When he was talking to Fay, you knew he wasn't planning on coming back. Bang.
I cried.

My first character death mourning period happened after beating Final Fantasy X. That ending as a whole choked me up. It's still one of the best and saddest video game endings I've ever seen.
