And also, if the virus isn't spreading by air, then there may not even be a big problem. The military will just kill them all, not like in most movies. Or maybe if you stay indoors for about 28 days or so, all the zombies die ? It's a chance, but i'll rather take that then shoot my brains all over the wall so some zombies can lick it off (if you want, you can imagine it, you psycho, no pic for you!!!! ).

No, mate, you're missing my point.

Immunity doesn't just occur because of vacines. Some people, at least in a species with a nice, healthy genetic diversity(so screw you, eugenicists), will usuaully have a natural immunity, or at least an immune system strong enough to eventually give them one.

IIRC, the survivors in L4D are all meant to be naturally immune.

Also, you are talking about people hundreds of years ago. Times have changed. Most of our life relies on power. No power,plus zombies equals panic.

You also have to consider the fact that it wouldn't happen like in the movies, where nobody knows what the hell's going on (of course, nobody would in real life, either, but we'd have an advantage, knowing what we COULD do). That's also assuming that we don't get nuked first thing. If you're going to try to survive (which is a wasted effort, just so you know), at least find a decent hiding spot, like a really tall building, or something along those lines.
