I don't know exactly why, but those games just don't sit right with me. Games are supposed to be fun, right? Those aren't very much fun in my eyes =/

No thats Too Human. The main characters name is Baldur (its from Norse mythology i believe). Baldur's Gate is a western RPG using the Dungeons and Dragons AD&D rules i believe (or some version of it). Very solid gameplay with a fantastic story to boot.ahlycks said:actually... no i have not, but i have heard of it. wait, is it that one game you attack using the analog stick and its all like sci fi and angles pick you up whenever you die and put you back in the exact same place with no consiquences? i like that game, though many did notkingcom said:Dont suppsoe you have played something like Baldurs Gate or the like?ahlycks said:all western games other than assassins creed. i do not understand what is to like about them

"Inevitably towards glory" ? You've played HL2 to the end, right?theSovietConnection said:I really don't get the love for the Half-Life series. Well, I won't be ignorant, I get the love for the first Half-Life, but the problem is that it was good, or at least revolutionary, as far as the first game is concerned. The second is little more then a mute protaganist hurtling inevitably towards glory because... well, because. Which sounds an awful lot like Halo to me. Really, with the second game, I only found three major differences between it and the Halo series.
1. Master Chief talks.
2. Half-Life 2 remains in the first-person perspective.
3. Gordan Freeman was never formally given military training.
