When you activate the purifier the first time and you die from the resulting power surge. I cried tears of happiness

Super Metroid. The whole last section of the game is such a huge emotional roller coaster:
The dread of finding all the husks of the space pirates, evidence of the last Metroid which has looked to you as a parent it's whole life.
The terror of said Metroid (super huge and scary) almost draining you to death, stopping at the last moment and recognizing you.
The despair that nothing you can do will bring down Mother Brain, but being rescued by your Metroid, only to see it destroyed by your nemesis.
The thrill of revenge, and subsequent frantic escape! Great stuff.

Then there was Holly Summers in No More Heroes. I didn't cry, but I got emotionally "pulled in" watching this scene between her and Travis. In the end I was in a funk for like a week.

The good ending in BioShock, MGS4s ending and the bad ending in ME2.

Those made me tear up.

When Aeris died I shed a tear. I didn't flat out cry, but that was the first time my eyes have ever watered up.
playing FF7 without having read any spoilers was an amazing experience.

I shouldn't be expected to spoiler tag the most well known death in gaming history, especially since it wasn't even made in this decade.

I didn't intend to imply anything. I just meant that it was an amazing moment to me thanks to not coming across any spoilers, which was lucky considering it's fame and the fact that I only played it for the first time about 5 years ago. I was just agreeing with you is all.
