Hm... The closest thing to it was in Bioshock, when I had to beat my estranged father to death with a golf club.
Also, I was very, very pissed when Gaz got shot at the end of CoD4.

When my king died in my very first chess game. I was around 6 and if possible a more sore loser than I am now.

The only "sad" bit in a game that I actually found sad was the end of HL2 Episode Two.

A game has never made me cry though. That seems weird.

There have only been two parts that really got me in a game.

The first one is in CoD4, with Gaz... I'll leave it at that.

The second one is in Black
When you find the other team massacred in the docks

This

When Dom shot his wife in Gears 2 is about the only thing that I can remember that I felt sad about...

Oh another Gears 2 moment when Tai kills himself

I didn't cry, but at the end of "Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time" I got kind of sad when

Fara died

But it's ok because

You rewound time to the beginning of the game at the end.

That was a truly tense, exciting moment of the game. Shame that that's as far as my game works, disc's scratched. It just stops at 80%.
Disc repair, Blockbuster games? £2! :) Worked on my copy of The Sims 2
CHEERS! Will try that! :) Want to finish it before ME2. :D

Let's see:

The ending to Prince of Persia Sands of Time sort of got me sad,but not more than that.

The endings to Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2,did make me cry...When you're young, you expect Disney to reward you with a happily ever after after killing the villain, right?Well, not Square Enix.

Zone of the Enders 1 and 2 almost made me tear up at the end. Some of the lines were expertly written and performed.

But by far the game that made me burst into tears was 358/2 days.Spoilers will follow:
Not only is the final boss your best(and one of your only) friends, she's also gone insane and wants you to kill her on purpose or just consume you. After which you go through the ending cutscene(in PS2 quality no less),where she slowly fades away while talking about all the good times she had with Roxas, and makes one last request. The fact that Xion's theme music is playing in the background doesn't help. Also, after all of this happens, not only does she die,she basically disappears from existence:anything and everything related to her is erased from everyone's mind,no one remembers her,and she just fades away...
I suggest you view the ending even if you don't know the game.

As soon as I recognized the fact that she was voiced by the girl that does Meg on Family Guy, I had no problems in this scene :p
It isn't actually Mila Kunis that voices her.But Kimberly Brooks.
See here http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2003743/
Whoa! Seriously? I could swear it was Mila Kunis. And here I sat throughout the game and said "Shut up, Meg!" whenever she was annoying :p

only game that really brought me even remotely close to anything that might resemble a SOB was the ending of Far Cry 2 (ironic, i know)

Ending of COD4.. Gaz AND Price... oh jesus.

As mentioned before the 'perfect world' sequence in Fable 2 is very sad.

Mass effect can be a bit of a downer too.

One of my favourite bits in CoD 4 is shooting the 2 guards next to Zakhaev, then blowing his head apart when he turns around. Then a few extra round straight into his body just for good measure.

Revenge is good.
