That game deserves to be in that E.T. landfill in Arizona.

Its a HORRIBLE game.
Same for me. I had it for less than a day and I returned it.

Mostly it was the fact that running consumed your hp, but the runner up was that you either got exp. or money/items, can't have both.
Lets not forget Gold was hard to come by and Items are expensive.
All but two if the characters can either Attack or use ONE special skill.
And my favorite...you couldn't choose your target in battle.

Mass Effect (sp?). Hated it so much, and with such a firey passion, I forced myself to play through the first mission. I could see myself mildly enjoying it on the PC, but it controlled like a one legged donkey, and wouldn't shut up. Normally I'm a fan of RPGs, but I could not stand this overhyped crap. Biggest regret of a game I've ever had, other than Sims 2 for the Xbox.

Dawn of War 2. It has some cool features, like greatly improved graphics and I love the realistic cover system but it was such a change from the original I just couldn't get into it. Also stupid Windows Live, took me days to get the game to even start cos of that

Dragon Age. I wish I liked Dragon Age. IT had good voicework, good writing, just an all around good game. The combat was so sluggish and the graphics were so bad. I returned it as soon as I could.

Silent Hill: Origins. To be fair, I stuck through with it until the sanitarium. Once the ghosty things in cages came up, though, I gave up.

Fallout 3.

As soon as I set foot outside of the vault I just knew that this wasn't going to be fun in any whatsoever way.
Exactly that. But I agreed to review it, so I had to at least finish the main story...
...Which turned out to be an even bigger mistake. Holy logic holes Batman.

Then Bethesda demanded 15 dollars for the DLC to fix the ending of the game, which was honestly just taunting me by that point, even though I had already uninstalled it and finished my review by then.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. Terrible graphics kill any immersion, stupid plot, terrible cover system and the aiming is fucked thanks to the sparks taking up the screen when you fire. Such a terrible and shitty game.

Oblivion. I really don't know what it was, but from the start I just knew that I wasn't going to like the game. I put a few hours into it... I don't know why, but it just didn't do anything for me. I've been wanting to give it another shot and see if it will pull a Mass Effect on me... (When I first played Mass Effect, it was like this. First 5 minutes, I didn't like it. An hour or two later? I freaking hated that game more than anything, especially considering that it was made by BioWare, creator of my favorite game of all time, KotOR. After a while, I gave it another chance and I ended up liking it somehow. I still had my issues... like the Mako having the absolute worst control in any video game that has been made or ever will be made EVER. But I was still able to enjoy it, and I'm glad I did, or else I wouldn't have gotten Mass Effect 2, which is now up there with KotOR)

I agree with everyone who hated Two Worlds. That game is buggy to the point of every gameplay mechanic being broken.

Another game I hated was Crysis. I only got it last week and I hate it immensely. I'm almost at the end (I think) and I've only been playing for 8 hours. The AI is retarded, stealth is useless, the weapons suck... The number of times I've taken an enemy out with a silenced shot to the back of the head only to have every single enemy in the area magically flock to my location... Silenced weapons don't work, you can be perfectly still under a bush behind a rock and enemies will still spot you somehow.
And the graphics weren't that great.

Master of Orion 3. It took everything that made the first two awesome and skull fucked it into oblivion.

Runners up: GTA4, God of War, Gears of War (which I later retried and beat), Golden Sun, FFXI (would be better as an offline game), Castlevania Order of Ecclecia, Dawn of Mana, Sword of Mana (complete rape of my favorite game ever), Chrono Cross (if it ever shows up on PSN I'll pick it up and give it another shot), and the most recent one I can recall, Turning Point.

I'd have to say that Mercenaries has to be my "I just don't like you" game. I'm not saying it's a bad game, I just didn't like it. It got too boring too fast. =-/

For games that I love right off the bat... I'd have to say Pokemon Red and Blue. How could you not love Pokemon Red and Blue? They enveloped most of our childhoods. =-D

Final Fantasy 12 - IS NOT FF.
Super Smash Brothers Brawl - Oh so meh, and yea I played it with friends, it's just boring.
Half Life - Bored out of my mind, even after I got my almighty crowbar.
Batman Arkham Asylum - The five minutes it took for me to realize I hated it were awesome, it's to bad that the rest of the game only consisted of repeating that five minutes. Still beat it, would've gone insane if not for Mark Hamill's chatter.
Enchanted Arms - Oh my god, why. Worst case of HD Text syndrome ever. DO NOT play on standard TV. In fact, DO NOT play period.
FF Tactics Advanced - Slow, arduous, and not a worthy successor.
Wild Arms 4 - I wrote over 3000 words on why this game is soul crushing in my blog, http://atomicpineapple-0sand1s.blogspot.com/, so I won't subject you to it in this post.

And many more that thankfully have been lost to the ether over time.

LO was just produced by the guy who created FF. It was developed by Mistwalker and published by SE but you always want to do research with this sort of thing with games and movies.
Wrong - Square-Enix had nothing to do with the game - it was published by Microsoft - and the box states "From the creator of Final Fantasy". As Hironobu Sakaguchi is the commonly recognized creator of the Final Fantasy games; and the person that turned the series into the world-famous brand it is today I think that's a pretty fair description.

Furthermore, the game was designed by Mistwalker - they are a game design company, primarily focused on the art, story and music of the game. The game was actually developed by FeelPlus.

If it says "from the people who brought you" or "brought to you by" then be suspicious. These are industery buzz words to make you think that the same people who worked on the other thing that you liked worked on this as well. Be cautious friend and be informed.
Ironic, considering you just made a pretty massive error in your other paragraph...
Well, you're right about the SE/MS publishing point but design is development so your semantic argument is just that. I appreciate being corrected when I'm wrong but it would be nice if next time you did it you weren't such a ponce. Cheers.
