Social link, go! I'm such a fanboy of the Persona series that I finally made an account after months of lurking just to express it. P4 is my fave, if you couldn't tell by my avatar. I marked like a little girl when Persona 2: Innocent Sin was announced for the PSP . We will finally have an official English release of the game.Psiboom said:Persona, Persona, Persona, Persona, Personaaaaaa.SOCIAL LINK, SOCIAL LINK, SOCIAL LINK, SOCIAL LINK, SOCIAL LINK~ Persona 3 and 4 for clarification.
Oh, and Devil Survivor of course.
Really... Chrono Cross... first I've heard of it. Not technically a sequel to Chrono Trigger though? Sounds interesting. Chrono Trigger was a good game but i really don't see how people expected a continuation of the Chrono Trigger story, i mean what do you do after you've saved the world by traveling through what, 5 different time periods? If there's something more badass than that threatening the world i really can't imagine it.HailtotheKing said:Psychonauts, for one. It's not a unique to be a Psychonauts fanboy as it used to be, but it's still an incredible game.
More than anything, I'm a fanboy of the incredible and much under-appreciated Chrono Cross. Easily my favorite game of all time, I've completed it many times in the last decade. It had a deep, twisting story, a 100% unique battle system, dozens of wildly varied characters to create your party out of, and a gorgeous, fully realized world to explore. Most people wrote it off as utter crap because it didn't continue the stroy from Chrono Trigger, but failed to realize that it was never meant to.
That's definitely up in my top three, but can you guess my all time favorite?chromewarriorXIII said:There is no better game than Tales of Symphonia, no matter what you say.
CC was about traveling between dimensions rather than time. It was almost completely unrelated (except for one part where Crono, Marle and Lucca make cameo appearances). Rather than Lavos, the final boss was an entity called the Time Devourer, who was a fusion of the 6 dragon gods and one other being that I won't mention here, for sake of spoilers, and if he isn't destroyed he'll unmake both universes. Pretty badass final boss.timeadept said:Really... Chrono Cross... first I've heard of it. Not technically a sequel to Chrono Trigger though? Sounds interesting. It has a different battle system than Chrono Trigger though? Doesn't matter if not, where would you be able to find it?
