There was this awesome submarine rpg type game for the pc about 10 yrs back. You would control up and down motions and such and drive around under water doing lots of quests etc. It was 3rd person so you would view behind the yellowish submarine, its kind of like aquanox but not quite. You would also have a grappeling hook or something to pick up various goods and weapons. There would also be a trade and money system, the world was pretty big and open and you had a world map. The world had underwater cities and stations one could dock to. And there were boss fights with bigger ships etc that were pretty massive.

The second one was a PS2 game I think. It was like a top down 3rd person shooter with zombies/undead/demons ect. You had a variety of characters to pick from with unique specialties and weapons, I distincly remember a slow priest-like character who used a crossbow that shot crosses and a fast girl who duel wielded pistols. It had COOP functionality. I remember that one of the boss levels included fighting a giant monster teddy bear and I think the story revolved around some possessed little girl.

My cousin owned the game and I don't remember much about it.
Is it Hunter The Reckoning: Wayward.

A strategic zone defence game with bugs.

You and the computer competed over food which you captured by standing on it while a flag was raised. Your armies consisted of various bugs.

There were ants, jumping spiders, grasshoppers and a lot more. The strongest unit was rhinoserus beetle, second strongest was praying mantis. Grasshoppers where the fastest units and you also had flying bugs.

You didn't have a base and you started the match with a set number of units.

I recall it having the word Wars in it's title.
I believe that would be Battle Bugs

and I wanna say this is Mark of Kri

I remember this game from way back in the floppy disk days (REAL floppy disks). It was a roguelike, the classic "run into goblins and kill them" formula. It had graphics and such, utilized the page up and other awkward buttons for diagonal movement. The only thing I ever did was mash the phase spell, which teleported me to a completely random location, then died, then repeated. I'd like to find it again, I've searched roguelike sites for this. I think I'd be better at it if I played it today...

this really odd game for genisis it was a platformer and involved you as some fuzzy or harry thing and i don't remember why you were doing these things but it was of the platformer genre where everything that wasn't a horizontal plot of earth to stand on would instantly kill you only if it only nicked your toe also there was one level on a roller coster track that is about the only memorable part of the game but i do remember it was fun

Mine is: A TPS game on PS1. You control some sort of a black alien with a cone-shaped head. It has a little machine gun attached to its right arm, and uses it to fire. I also think that it has parachute of some sort, and you use it to descend from high points. The enemies, as I recall, are some sort of cows that would shoot some kind of green stuff. The game also has password system and the passwords themselves are very long. I also vaguely remember a particular scene, where you appear to be in some sort of an enclosed box. The walls of the box have pictures of a garden, fence, house etc. You could shoot at them and they would fall. The game also has bosses.
The main character sounds a lot like the guy from MDK.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDK_%28video_game%29

I think MDK was also the first game to feature the first person zoomable sniper scope.

it was on the n64 and it was called quest or magic quest 64 or something like that. JRPG i think. you played a little boy, I remember the battle field formed an octagon around you and the monsters and you could cast magic.

I've got absolutely no idea what the name of this game was. It was the for the SNES.

You play as a clown. The game is a psuedo 3D platformer, the screen scrolls diagonally with you moving from the top left corner towards the bottom right. Your ongoing march takes you through forests, cities, and I think there were some sewers at some point.
I remember there'd be random effects and occurences, like a gust of wind that sent you tumbling comedically onto an adjacent (and different) path.

Okay, I only played the first few missions, so Forgive my lack of complete description...

A PC RTS game, base building, resource acquisition...

There were I believe only 2 races...there may of been more further in game... One Race was a very Technologicaly superior race, which I believe in the Campaign, they were Dark blue and the main unit wielded long laser rifles, and thats All I can remember...

The other race was a more militia looking force, Naturally coloured brown I believe, One significant thing i remember, is the Scout vehicle for that race has a woman's dialogue, including phrases like ''Locked n loaded, Yea Baby?'' and presumably others...

I honestly cant think of anything else so my apologies, but any names or further info would be of substantial help!
Is it Dark Reign?

In the mid 90's I played a sidescrolling beat-em up with mythological creatures, inspired by greek/roman/european mythos. You weilded a badass sword and the whole shebang. It was also pretty hard.

But there was a twist. Not only is it a sidescroller, but it has a Sim City/Civ section where you help restore the kingdoms and uncover dungeons and help the people clear the land and defend them from monsters (sometimes they kidnap people).

I cannot remember the name, at all, please, halp :(

Edit: It was for the Super Nintendo.
That would be Act Raiser.

Ok I have one.

It was an N64 game. You play as this guy in some futuristic underground facility or something. Anyway the combat system is like a weird combination of a fighting game and a turn based jrpg battle system. You could level up your individual body parts as you used them. So if you kicked with your right leg a lot your right leg kicks would do more damage. I remember my friend and I playing it and getting pretty far and then getting pile drived to death by some half man half pig mutant thing.

Any ideas?

First game I played. It was on the computer. With MS Dos I think. Looked like MS Dos. Can't rember how old I was, probably like 5 or something. That would make it about 1995 or something. Anyway, it was this robot fighting game. All I remember was that at the end it played "Eyes of the Tiger" without the vocals. I think that was the song. Never knew the name of it.

I can vaguely remember a game on the N64, I believe. You were a kid with black hair, and you could also turn into an older version of yourself at will, I think...maybe, anyway. I think there may have been a girl around somewhere as well. It was all classic Japanese sorta design in the setting, but there was funky stuff like lasers too.

And a huge mecha battle. REALLY huge mecha battle that involved flying across a plain while shooting the other mech from the cockpit of yours in first person view. Goddamn awesome. Really, really hard at the same time though.

No idea what it was called at all. Only played it a couple of times. Shame, I'd like to try it again and see if it's easy now.

(Also, first post, hurrah! No more skulking in the background!)
Apart from the "turning into an older version of yourself", it sounds exactly like Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystical_Ninja:_Starring_Goemon] it was one of the most awesome games for N64.
I remember this game to. The main villains were trying to turn Japan into Europe or something.
Also, Impact the Giant Japanese American movie star robot.

I think this was also made into an anime.

Edit: It was

I'm reasonably certain that it was a PC RTS game, where you controlled a feudal Japanese village and you had to build rice paddies to harvest resources. Each faction had different special units, one faction was the werewolf clan, one had special Ronin, and one got to build special Geisha shrines to heal their troops or something.

Edit: Another one I just remembered. Never actually played it myself, but I watched someone else play it. It looked a LOT like command and conquer 1, but you controlled squads instead of individual troops and you had to send them into buildings to capture, and the maps were very small.
