personal experiences and my own principles. What i believe its wrong is that it goes against human nature, man should be with a woman. And woman should be with a man.
What experiences have caused this? Did these experiences give birth to your principles? What are your principles? Why do you believe a man and woman is human nature, couldn't human nature be to have a relationship with the person you love regardless of gender?
Nope. A man and woman is the only way. To reproduce and keep the race strong.
What experiences have caused this belief? Did these experiences give birth to your principles? What are your principles?

But why do you believe the human race must all reproduce? Diversity is needed to maintain society, why can't people be different and have same-sex partners? What about those who are sterile, they are unable to reproduce, is there existence wrong?

I'm sorry, do you honestly believe there's any kind of shortage of people in the world? That everyone needs to make children in order to keep society running smoothly? (Hint: no)

My experiences even shared by one of my gay friends is that gay marriage is wrong and that marriage as by definition of The Bible and The Dictionary is between a man and a woman. This is about gay marriage not people who are sterile. and because you cant have chaos when Order is right.

Reproduce? I don't know if you've looked outside lately, but humans seem to have little or no problem with that.

The more gay people we have around, the less overpopulation there is. I can't remember the last time I heard of a straight couple adopting a child, unless it was out of necessity (genetic disorder, infertility).

OT:
To answer the OP's questions:
I'm gay.
Shouldn't have to answer this one.
Or this one.

I am not gay or bi, but totally for gay rights. There's nothing wrong with them, and I have no problem with seeing heterosexual couples kiss and that doesnt change for gay couples.

It's not about gay marriage, it is about why you believe homosexuality is wrong. Could you please be more specific with your experience, I would like to know if that's okay with you. Also how is difference chaos? You can arrange different books to in an ordered format, why do you believe people can't be gay and live in a peace, ordered society? Why do you believe homosexuals would create chaos?

The only sensible reaction to anyone's sexuality seems to be 'fine, so you like *blah gender,* why do I care?' unless you are actively trying to pull them.

My impression is that most homophobia today is not actually directed against homosexualality per-se, but is motivated by fear and disgust of buttsexx and the irritating habits of camp people.

Too bad none of the industrialised nations are overpopulated.

Conclusion: The third world needs more gays.

Now, I was wondering in why you believe homosexuals need to have the same rights as straight couples? A homosexual relationship is a same-sex equivalent, so why can't you rights be equivalent but different?

I'm gay and I use to be very homophobic, to the point of physically attacking them for their "Sins". Church told me so... dough i don't blame them, it was in a 3rd world country. Hate like that is very common and easy to spread in such environment. being a walking oxymoron it's probably why I'm such a horrible person. I personally think that the issue at the moment isn't rights or equality. Its hatred...

Marriage was around long before the Bible, and Dictionary definitions can be rewritten. And at the end of the line couples should be entitled to the same benefits as straight couples.

Why were you so homophobic? Did you fear that you would become them? And why did you feel you should follow the Churches teachings, did you do it for all aspects of your life?

I never said they couldn't live in peace. I just think its wrong. Does it matter what I think? No. I've been told that a million times here. If they want to live on some island in the Bahamas away from everyone, go ahead, I'm not stopping them. Only when it comes to marriage i will protest. I will continue to believe homosexuality is wrong for as long as i live. If people hate me for it, fine. Criticize me for what i believe, go ahead. I will continue to protest what i believe in.

I care what you think, I'm not attacking you for your beliefs. I want to understand them.

What exactly do you find wrong with a same-sex realtionship; their inability to reproduce, intercourse or the violation of the Church's teachings? And why don't you want homosexuals to be part of society?

I think the term you're looking for is "separate but equal" and these here United States done did tried that with them thar nigras. The courts ended up deciding that was stupid and racist (much like the previous sentence itself).

In any case, marriages aren't the same as civil unions, mainly because one state doesn't have to respect the civil union of another, and there are various issues dealing mainly with tax benefits and whatnot.

The only reason I've heard that I respect for maintaining a difference of rights of gay and straight couples is the amount of lawsuits and revoked tax privileges against churches who want not to marry gay couples because the union is against their belief system. (This is not to say I'm not for gay marriage, this is just to say stupid people and stupid religions still exist, and last I checked, freedom of religion was still pretty important to us, no matter how stupid said religion may be)
