Well if by "hot" you mean more appealing due to sharing a common interest, then yes I guess that would make girl gamers hotter. If not, then I don't know what you're talking about.

You playing video games provides nothing to your level of attractiveness. It might provide a guy with something to talk about or something to do with you, but that is about it.KowBonez said:Hi, I'm a gamer, and I'm a girl.
A hang out with guys who play video games a lot. They keep telling me that being a girl who plays and GETS video games like they do makes me "hotter". I personally have no idea how playing video games makes me more attractive.
So I'm asking, do you believe this to be true? Why or why not? And if you're a girl gamer, has this ever been said to you? What are your feelings on it?
Couldn't say it better. Especially with all of the in-jokes we have in the gaming community, conversations are so much easier with other gamers (regardless of gender, but obviously if you have some interest in a girl then conversation is fairly important). If I can say "This was a triumph" and have the girl fire back at me "I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS," then I automatically have a bunch of stuff to talk about, and can make little jokes (like that) knowing she'll get them.NeutralDrow said:It's probably not used in the sense of physical attractiveness. "Hot" can be applied to any sort of attractiveness, and a woman who also plays video games is someone who I might find more socially/emotionally attractive, due to greater chance of interest compatibility.
