It's clear she wants to explore a different path, unfortunately for you this means that you won't be a part of it. There isn't anything anyone can say that will fix this problem. All you can do is either beat yourself up (don't though, cause this is not your fault) or accept that she wants something you can't offer and move on. If you respect her then you should be able to accept this and move on. Yes getting your heat broken is a shit part of life but it's something we all go through.

Good question. Girl dumped me over the summer. Took a few months, but we had a long conversation on what went wrong in the relationship. Learned a lot about myself. Stopped talking after that.

Then she blindsided me a couple days ago by talking to me using a mutual friend's gtalk account (part of my post-break up was deleting her from my buddy list. I didn't outright block her, but we can no longer see when either of us is online). That was strange and it made me realize how little I actually cared about trying to remain friends with her.

Anyway, best you can do is learn from the experience, hopefully she'll talk to you about what went wrong. If it comes down to it, don't ever, ever tell anyone you turned a chick into a lesbian. That could be dating suicide.
