If you like Trek, then try ST: Bridge Commander.
Definitely. Both surprisingly good games.

I recommend SpellForce: The Order of Dawn to just about anyone who can handle a Western RPG (as in not Japanese, not Wild West), or a RTS. It's an amazing, original world with a solid story and the gameplay isn't half bad. I can't recommend the sequel/expansions though. =(

Blast Corps, and Diddy Kong Racing, those games were fantastic; if you have played, good on you if not... dust off your N64 and bust out eBay.

XIII, damn that game was good.
I loved XIII, ganmeplay meshed seamlessly and the combat was extremly fun. And the graphics were great too.

Freedom Fighters is another great game that nobody seems to have heard off. There was nothing wrong with it, it just had crappy advertising. It had a great system where you took on sections of a city one by one. And if you blew up the helipads the other areas wouldnt have helicopter coverage. Blow up a power staion and then there wouldnt be so mnay search lights, making it easier to sneak around. And at any piont you could retreat to your sewer camp to go to anohter area or re-arm.

God, I missed so any good games... The worst part is that I can't get hold of them in this fucking country (Greece), unless I start digging every city inch by inch! I never played ICO, Okami, Katamari and so many other games... :( at least I bought Shadow Of The Colossus on the first day of release :D

Of course there are some things called... emulators >:)

Mischief Makers on Nintendo 64 is a weird but surprisingly fun game. You have many abilitys and have to solve many puzzles to get through every level but my favourite part are the boss fights, it is a very challenging game and if any of you can obtain it these days you should give it a go.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mischief_Makers - some info on wiki for it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvdBLeodBZI&feature=related - a gameplay video, sorry I couldn't find a clip without some guys annoying voice in it!

Geneforge
Depths of Peril
Mount and Blade
Eschalon Book 1
Avernum

All great indie cRPG games that were made recently and yet noone plays even though they all want the old school style RPG's like Baulders Gate.. It's a shame.

Also if you look throughout Steam (For the console jockies thats the Vavle software Delivery platform) You can find a lot of great games on there, including indie games you will never see a ad for like Audiosurf, or Defense Grid: The Awakening. Some games people have to look into. Even Darwinina is a really good game with a good background story to it.

I don't know one other person who owned music 3000, but it was brilliant. Much better than mtv music generator
I own that! Love music creation stuff, I'm such an amateur but I enjoy it. Mainly do it on PC these days, though.

It is an interesting phenomenon that games like Psychonauts, Okami, Beyond Good and Evil, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus get mentioned so often on forums like these as underrated games. I assumed they were all popular, given how often they're touted as fine games. I guess we who frequent video game forums might get a slightly skewed perspective on games; the nerdiest amongst us play classics like that but the general public doesn't care about them.

Beyond Good and Evil. There, I said it before everyone else did.
I bought it and it's fun...when your not doing dumbass stealth sequences!

Anyway...I think Red Orchestra and Mount & Blade slipped under the radar and are both awesome.

This thread, maybe. It has been mentioned a few dozen times in the 30 *other* "Great game no one plays" threads.

Age of Mythology, anyone? It's my favorite RTS of all time, and I own Starcraft.

The little I played of World of Goo was pretty good, and it's only sold some 15,000 by now.

It's awesome, go pick it up now if you have the classic Xbox.
I agree here. I wish I had taken better care of the disc. I can't play it now.
