The next one I'm likely to get is a Glock .45. I'd feel most comfortable with a M4 variant because that is what I am used to shooting.

I've had the pleasure of firing the .50cal machine gun, the .50 cal sniper, the M-249B, the SAW, and the M203 grenade launcher.
That Nova looks really comfy, how's it shoot?

It shoots really, really well. The pump on it is as smooth as silk. I'm not sure if it does anymore, but at one point that gun held the pump action record for fastest shooting. The guy took 9 clay pigeons threw them up by hand and shot them all before they hit the ground. It took the record away from the 870 express.

my Grandfather's Colt M1911 That he traded a US Soldier Stationed in the Pacific for his Webley Mark 4. And a Austen ( a British Sten gun just made in Australia) that i paid $300 AUD for.
they are both in working Condition and i have fired them both.

EDIT: its a shame they dont make guns with wood anymore its all plastic and black steel

Well, here's me cuddlin' my baby.

She's a Remington .308 700 series, with a Leupold Tactical Mark 4 scope. <3

EDIT: What I really want is a Barrett .50 cal, but that's rather silly. ^^

Also go for a MacMillan Tac 50. I figure if you're going to blow money on a .50 go for a record setter.

I have 2 favorites to shoot. One is a Winchester .243 caliber lever action. I love lever action rifles, I saw one at a gun shop that looked like it came from the old west now I want it really badly :(. My other favorite is a Remington 9mm magnum rifle, that puppy is a blast to shoot, not to mention I can put 5 bullets in the same hole from 75 yards. I need to get out to the rifle range more often.

I could have sworn I contributed to this thread when it first came out. Ah well.

I'm interested in the Sig p250. I had something of a violent childhood, and find that firearms can be a decent means of self defense when the need arises. The Sig p250 offers a versatility in caliber, and I can swap the insides out for different forms of ammo. I'll be thrilled when a .45 version is offered. :)

The AWP is in reality the Arctic Warfare Police (hence, AWP). Also known as the L96. It's built by Accuracy International, comes in 7.62x51mm NATO (.308 win); Super Magnum: .338 Lapua (8.60x70mm), .300 Win Mag, and 7mm Remington Magnum (Not .50 like CSS claims).

They're also REALLY comfy, and I want one.

Ooh, that does sound like fun. Not a bad price either, I'm really liking the look of the Tactical...[/SPOILER]

Sigs are pretty comfortable, and I've heard REALLY good things about .357Sig ammunition...

Wow that's a lot of quotes and text wall... Spoiler tags to condense things a bit.

H&K USP Tactical .45. adjustable sight, and a nice little weight in the front that's thrown forward to reduce recoil. oh ya and rail mount and threaded barrel. Don't have a pic of it but you can see it here. http://www.hk-usa.com/civilian_products/uspt_general.asp

I recently bought a Glock 27 as an alternative to the S&W M&P .40 compact I have been carrying. It is actually a bit lighter. Slightly longer but smaller over all. It fits nicely in a pancake holster on my belt. Easily concealed.

And yes I always carry a gun on myself. Either on my belt, or in winter I much prefer to wear a larger weapon with an under arm holster. Usually nothing bigger then a full size gun, the compacts and sub compacts are nice, but they get really inaccurate really quick due to the ridiculously short barrels they have.

My favorite gun will probably have to be my first. I always have been partial to shotguns anyway. My first gun was a Mossburg 500, I have three barrels for it, and the pistol grip for it. No other gun I own has been fired by me as many times as that one.

Then again I am a gun nut, even made the club for it - Hint, hint, plug [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/chat/Gun-Nuts].

I carry a Springfield XD subcompact 9mm. Good accuracy at pistol engagement range, smooth recoil, and conceals easily in my belt. With hollow-points, I have plenty of stopping power in the unlikely event I need it.

USPs are pretty nice, just crazy expensive.
