I call bullshit. I find it odd that I kick the average man's ass down way way and up the other in every way.

Just to weigh in as a woman here...that guy doesn't look terribly average ;-P It would have done their article more credit if they'd had a picture of a dude who actually met all those criteria...

The one on the picture looks like his name must be Chad, or Brock, or something =)

I may be a lighter guy, but I'm in better shape than all of those averages.

Ha, I can run a mile in 11 minutes (specificly 2.4km in less then 11:13)
Sounds like you're talking about the bfa there. And if you're doing one of them I'd hope you'd be above average fitness :D

Physically, apparently I am much better off than average.

6'2"
220 lbs
255 lb bench press
7~ minute mile

I don't know about measurements of my chest or bicep as I haven't had a suit made in a while, but I'm assuming around 16" bicep and 44" chest.

I also spend $0 on supplements :)

I'm 215 pounds, and I can run a mile in 7 minutes. And yeah, those stats in the bottom right are either drastically wrong, or we here at the Escapist are just that good.

But yeah, I call BS on all of this.
"Jocks spend all their time thinking about sports. Nerds spend all their time thinking about sex" - Revenge of the Nerds. ;-)

I'm pretty average. I haven't tried, but I'm pretty sure I could be at least average in the push-ups / sit-ups. My body fat is close, and I can walk about 4mph so I think I could match that time (despite smoking 10-15 cigarette's a day).

My BMI is a bit high, but I'm a relatively lean 190 for my 6'1" height.

so, yep, I'm average.

I consider myself physically fit, so I'm within that 69%. I'm also in the 13% who is physically fit, as I do a lot of cycling and walking, and have done climbing as well. Don't know my heart rate and I have no means to test it, so... I'm almost exactly 6' tall, so a little taller than the average man. My waist size is roughly 32", in fact it's slightly less than that usually, about 30", it just went up slightly over Christmas. And my penis size is roughly 6", so I always thought that was around average but in fact seems to be slightly over, so yay me I guess?

The other stuff, I can't be bothered checking or have no means to do so. Overall I'd say I'm about the average human male, but ever so slightly different in some areas mainly to do with physical qualities and physical health. Which is fine by me, as long as I don't get ill and die and can live a happy life then great :D. And those numbers don't really shock me, everyone says that the 'average' is slightly bigger than it is so they can say 'I'm average' and make people think they're better or 'bigger' (ahem) than they actually are...

I love how this immediately turned into a penis measuring contest.
When there's a forum topic title called: "Guys 18+: Where do you stand compared to the average male?", what do you think will happen?

:p

OT: Taller than average(I'm like 5'9 1/2"), possibly larger than average(I'm pretty overweight so there's some flab hiding a few inches), waist is... not sure. Bigger, yes but not sure by how much.

And I use a folding chair to put my clothes on, not exercise equipment(though if I had some I'd use it to hold books :p).

Better in some ways (no joke, and you know what I mean)

I'm about that tall, and weight.

But I'm not at all close to many of the fitness stats. I lean slightly towards the "fatness" stats.

Although in my last mile run, (3 years ago) I got about 10 minutes.

I love how they intimidate you with a picture of Studly McBearfighter, then proceed to tell you that statistically he is should be fat man with a disproportionate penis.

Oh right, average American man. Gotcha. Explains a lot. (I kid)

I do find it interesting that when you combine the average weights and the average single press benching lifts for any age group they're under what I can do in a single bench press... and I'm unfit, a smoker and a fatty fat fatfuck.
