You may have been thinking about the 360 version when you posted, but the subject and what you replied to were talking about the PC version.
If Therumancer comes in here and says, "no, I was talking about the 360" then I'll stand corrected.

I tend to be a space cadet at times to be entirely honest. My concern is over the situation in general, and the simple fact that they are killing the multiplayer servers for a game that people still play. Most of my ranting however has nothing to do with a specific platform.
I used Assasin's Creed 2 as an example due to it's reliance on a constant Internet connection, if Ubisoft chose to stop supporting the online components required to make it run, a lot of people would effectively lose their games.
AC2 is simply a more extreme version of what is going on with Halo 2, since Halo 2 is simply losing it's multiplayer functionality (albiet that is the point of the game for those who play it), where versions of AC2 that require a constant internet connection will be totally non functional.
