Killswitch Engage... I accidentally grabbed a CD that I thought was mine from the car of a friend, and it was full of songs of them. I went home, put the CD on my computer and... Well, since then I have loved that band. (In my opnion, at least)

Also, MLP: Friendship is Magic... but nothing that accidental, I just had nothing to do that day, and I clicked the episode in YouTube.

Finally, Dead Space... I hate scary games because they are... well, scary. But two weeks before the release of Dead Space 2, I wanted to buy a game (Can't remember which one) using Games on Demand in Xbox 360. Once I found it, I heard the sound of the doorbell. Before I went downstairs, I asked my sister to buy the selected game on the screen... what I didn't knew, was that when I threw the controller, the sticks moved the selected game to Dead Space, and my Sister tought that was the one I wanted... greatest mistake ever, because I loved both games (Dead Space 1 and 2)

The Setup: I watch a lot of Let's Plays. There's this one LPer called "666theheartless666" who is one of the funniest people I've ever seen.

The Backstory: He uses a video camera to record, so the video quality's not that great.

How It Went Down: I found his videos because I wanted to watch a Let's Play of Siren: Blood Curse. His video was the first to come up. I was such a snob at that time that I didn't want to watch his video because the image quality was low. But because there was no higher resolution LP of it, I went with good old Heartless.

A Reason to be Glad I Found Heartless: (go to around 2:30)

The Aftermath: To this day he is my favorite LPer, and I don't know if I would have ever found him if there was another, higher quality Let's Play of Siren: Blood Curse. Needless to say, I'm glad I found one of the funniest people I've never met.

A friend recommended 'The Name of the Wind' by Patrick Rothfuss to me. I devoured the first two ks, and will soon have a heart attack with the strain of wait for the third.

Spears.
No, seriously, I picked one up in Assassin's creed 2, and then I realised how fucking awesome spears are. I knew about them before, but kind of ignored them.

Manga. I was in a comic book store and I noticed all these, what I thought, thick little books and I had no idea what they were. I picked one up, Blood+, and read the back of it to see what it was. I shrugged and bought it on a whim, and it was an awesome whim.

Silent hill. I was at a friends house and it was the kinda of place where you can walk through the front door without knocking since the family was really cool. I hear my friend freaking out in his room and I went to see what the hell was going on and saw him playing that game. I was intrigued and watched him play it, and then he let me borrow it since he knew I love horror.

Metal. I listened to a lot of jazz, motown, and classical growing up and I was kinda a snob about it. I was channel surfing on my radio when I heard the opening to Diary of a Madman by Ozzy and I instantly fell in love it with. It got me to look into other types of that genre and that song especially is high on my list of favorite songs ever.

Macaroni and cheese mixed with applesauce. Don't knock it until you try it.
I want to go out to the store right now to get the supplies for that.

Please elaborate.
Umm...you take the Macaroni and cheese...and you take the applesauce and then you- never mind, it's far too complicated to remember off the top of my head.

Come to think of it, maybe I SHOULD seriously elaborate on one thing: don't literally mix it all together in a big bowl. Just take a spoonful of M&C and dip it in the sauce. And then prepare for heaven.

"Oooh, KotOR II, I wanna buy that. And hey, I can get Fable TLC with it free! May as well then..."

Alternatively: "This song's pretty good, who's it by? MUSE? I'll look em up later."

And I DID

And they are AWESOME

And this emphasis is SUPERFLUOUS

Clannad, needed a show to watch and remember a poster here mentioning it off hand. Great stuff, that. Also, Frozen Synapse. I saw my older brother playing it, loved the art it had going. Looked it up later, bought it on sale, wonderful!
