For me it was when I played my first MMORPG which was Final Fantasy XI, logged 23 hours on my first session had a little sleep for about 4 hours then did another 19 or so.

No way I could do anything approaching that these days probably manage about 5-6 hours then I would need a break. Getting old is no fun :(

It's nothing amazing, but I think I played for 17 hours straight.
The sad part? It was "Hey You, Pikachu!"... It's an interactive voice-activated Pokemon game on the Nintendo 64. I'm sorry, world.

48 houts, no washroom breaks and food was brought to us...... Long live GTA San Andreas, after beating campain (Without cheats) then going the last 12 co-op maddness with a bud (CHEATS ENABLED) got out of the room crashed burn died rose up and took my wrath out on little brother. We got everything there was to get, did everything too do and a glich occured that we got a go to point so high that even a speeding fighter jet could not reach.... We decided it was time to stop when we had a quest to get to god (Thats what we thought it was it was so dam high up)

Some of your records are ridiculous haha....
make mine look weak.
Basically. 12 hours playing Tekken Tag on Xmas morning one year, 10 on Stoked the first day of release, 10 on Tony Hawk 2 on first day, 8 on Rock Band 2 first day, 8 on Skate and Skate 2, etc.

I tend to cram most of my gameplay in the first couple days of me having the game, then RL takes over or I play what I was playing before.

Grinding on Starcraft for 30 hours, 25 hours playing Halo 3 and 10 hours playing Oblivion, the Starcraft was separate but the Halo and Oblivion were one after the other with 30 minutes of web surfing in between.

7 hours on runescape... mining. That was all, mining ore, smelting ore, making armor, selling said armor, then doing it all again. Hmm... now I'm hit with sudden nostalgia... I wonder if my old account is still active? That was years ago.

I would put my personal record at roughly 70 hours of fallout not fallout 3, i mean the first one. I slept for more than 20 hours following, and I will never do that again, after all i was starting to hallucinate after that point and passed out face down on the floor halfway to my bed.
trust me your neck will hurt like hell after a 20 hour nap on the floor face down, not fun.

Couple of years ago (3 I think) I broke my leg in car accident. So I played Morrowind non-stop, I remember that one time I played about two days and nights straight(maybe more) until I passed out. I only got up twice to go the bathroom, and food and juices were always by my side so I didn't take breaks for that. You could say that I have played it for a month (If you don't count sleeping), I just laid down and waited for my leg to heal :)

About 60-70 hours playing Luigi's Mansion - I was ten so don't JUDGE ME!!!! I literally found every possible secret in the game!
On a nearly related note, my longest time spent on a game is about 300 hours in TF2 (it should be higher, but I have a stupid affixion to food and crapping).

Was on 2 weeks leave after coming back from OIF; was playing Shadowbane, a PVP/GVG/NVN MMORPG by Ubisoft.

Got involved with a series of nonstop banes with other nations trying to break the nation (EQ) I was in. This war lasted approx. 3 days. I stayed and fought in every battle on my templar and confessor.

Only breaks I took was toilet/coffee breaks....oh and pizza delivery lol. Was a very intense time hehehe.

Oh, in the end, EQ fell. I slept 18 hours straight afterwards lol.

All-time, I'd say it was the weekend back in 1998 when I played Final Fantasy VII from start to finish in one 33-hour, Mountain Dew and pizza-fueled sitting (some of those unskippable cutscenes go by a lot quicker if you pick up the phone and call Domino's while they're playing). I then slept from about 6:00 PM Sunday straight through to when I had to wake up at 7:30 the next day to go to class (really, did you expect anything less than a college student doing something that unequivocally stupid?)

Kingdom Hearts II, I wouldn't sleep till I'd completed it. I reckon I was awake for about 2 and a half days. ^_^

I slept for a day afterwards though...

84 hours of nethack. I actually passed out (head mashing the spacebar) about 8 turns away from the end of the game (according to the ttyrec). Had sleep on space turned on so I officially died at that spot.

I can beat my own gaming time with a programming time though - I once programmed for a full week straight (Edit: 7 days) (though I'm fairly certain I was microsleeping by the end) to get an entire trucking system (track, trace, connotes, gps maps) online. It nearly wrecked me though and I've not been able to code like that since. That was nearly 3 years ago now.

I spent over $2000 on coffee and takeout pizza that week.
