Still a virgin. Don't want the first guy to be a pig or someone I don't particularly care for so I've been holding my breath for a decent one here.

Well my first was after just under a week (4 or 5 days i think...)

My second was like over a year... but granted we only dated for 3 months (she put out fuckall for me lol)... and then we went for a drink about nine months after breaking up, took her back to mine, bumped uglies, and then i ended it lol fun times.

Needless to say bad carma has left me over a year without sex, but i've matured a lot since then so i think i can hold a serious one night stand again now....

On average, my lead time is probably negative.
Most of my partners have either been one-nighters or one-nighters which led to a (sometimes brief) relationship.

Good luck with that. I'm sure there're a few out there somewhere...

I usually go for the girls with whom I work, study or go to same activities. So we know each other quite well by that time.
So can't really say about how many "pure dates" it takes.

Unfortunately, I can't divide by zero.

In other words, I can't calculate an average time of dating before sex until I actually have sex.
Hahahahahaha! I had my own answer ready, but that beats anything I could come up with. So that pretty much goes for me too.

...well, I've never tried picking women up at bars, it just seems too cliche, and they tend to be on the defensive, from what I've seen. I've never actually had a "one night stand" either. There were a few casual relationships that started as sex at a house party somewhere, and more than one of what I consider a "distant co-worker"... someone who works for the same company/battalion/brigade/civilian company, but not in the same area.
My current girlfriend I met as a friend of a friend, at a party I was hosting... I was having sex with her within 8 hours of meeting her, and we've been at it for nigh on two years now.

From my own experiences: anywhere between two weeks and six months.

(The six month wait resulted in a relationship lasting six years... don't know what that says about me/her so... *shrug*)

My current relationship is hitting its one year, and it started out as a drunk fuck between two people who didn't know each others' names.

So, my fellow Escapists, how long do you usually go out with someone before you sleep together? Assuming you don't just exclusively go out to bars for one night stands.

Tell us your thoughts, feelings, and stories, my fellow Escapists.
It honestly depends on the individual.

My spouse and I had sex on our first date. We were in a park for the first part (we were alone, in an out of the way spot - what we didn't realize was a nature trail went overhead. We found out when we heard hikers cheering us on from above) and then headed back to my spouse's place for the main course, as it were.

On the other hand, there was this one girl I dated for months before we did more than kiss. She had some issues, though, so that probably isn't a fair comparison.

Generally, though, within the first three dates. It has historically been pretty easy to get into my pants. ^^

It's been two pages, so I guess I'll break the ice with this one: I'm waiting to be married :3

And yes, I am a female and yes I am a virgin.

It is illegal and impossible to divide by zero, so ask me later unless you want me to break the laws of physics/math and open a hole in the space-time-continuum.
My friend i seem to see a flaw in your logic, and that beaing that you stated divission by Zero being impossible when factually it is not just possible but very simple.

A simple series of mathematic equasions can prove this to you. ( / = divide by )

Using the number 100 as a base...

100 / 100 = 1

100 / 10 = 10

100 / 1 = 100

100 / 0.1 = 1000

This shows that the closer to zero you get the larger the product of the equasion will be

Therefore anything divided by zero equals infinite

100 / 0 = ?

Concluding this, accroding to MATHS, if you have never slept with anyone then the time it takes to sleep with anyone is infinite, meaning you will never sleep with anyone.

So from this i can conclude that MATHS is a cruel harsh bastard that knows nothing about life and should be shot at dawn ^_^
