Hahahaha
That was exactly my point yes.Housebroken Lunatic said:... Well, speaking from real life experience here, "sensual and gentle" might be the realistic way the first time you have it with a brand new partner. Not erotic, because....well it just looks like porn.
But after those first few times, sex tend to be more like it is in porn (in my experience at least).
So if the goal is to emulate realism here, then omitting the "porn-like" stuff wouldn't exactly be the correct way of doing it.
Just sayin'
A shot of one or two articles of clothing being thrown from off screen isn't misplaced for the particularly thick-skulled. x3Julianking93 said:Simple implication is just fine, honestly.
Anything else just either seems gratuitous or humorous.
Look at Heavy Rain. That sex scene was laughable due to the glitching and collision detection between characters.
Simply implying that sex is there is just fine. Look at the MGS series
In 3, they're rolling around together on the floor while the camera pans away, not showing anything overly explicit.
In 4, Otacon gets pulled into the helicopter by Naomi and the screen fades to black
That is how I personally think it should go anyway :3
Yes! Ban sex...AnythingOutstanding said:Both I guess. :\Nick Stackware said:Sex itself or sex in video games/media?AnythingOutstanding said:Sex shouldn't be in games to begin with.
It's an embarrassment to society that needs to be corrected.
It also depends on the characters, and how comfortable they are with their own sexualities, and what they perceive sexuality to be in themselves and in their partner. If you're going to be mature and believable about these scenes, you're going to have to take into account people who are horrified by genitals, people who can't help but giggle when those parts are mentioned, people who get aroused at the slighted provocation, people who take some persuasion... These are dynamics that aren't even TOUCHED upon in games that aren't dedicated entirely to romance/erotica (and as I've never played any that ARE dedicated to that, I can't vouch as to whether or not these dynamics are touched on there or not). Different people react to different propositions differently.rokkolpo said:That was exactly my point yes.Housebroken Lunatic said:...
