PETA may be crazy, but there are real animal welfare organisations trying to stop this kind of shit. Like the WWF, the various RSPCAs / SPCAs and numerous humane societies. Instead of just bagging out the morons from PETA (who in the animal welfare world, are no different to the rabid console fanboys of the gaming world, tea-baggers of the political world, etc), try supporting a group where success and change actually do happen.
The kind of shit the OP posted happens around the world, every day, and it is a disgrace. Doing something to put an end to these practices is a worthwhile and just cause. The people professing a lack of care or concern should have a good hard look in the mirror, as there is something significantly lacking in your humanity.

Also, yes, that video was emotive, but how many times did they have to film it before they got the horrible shots? I already know that alot of the 'animal experimentation' videos where they abuse the animals are actually *shock* generated by the organisation themselves, because the 'public' won't actually react to anything other than a dog getting its skin flayed from its body, regardless of the actual truth.
I also don't believe Global warming is real and that your mother had sex with your father more than once, just so you can assassinate my character with abit more accuracy.
