Ooof, that was pretty gnarly. I`m not one for very sentimental-ness, but I closed the window after the bloodied skull thing was looking around. I feel slightly queasy now{My own fault for watching that far though}.
I dont support PETA, they are fucking insane. Sure I get the horse farms and what not, but when they made a "parody" of cooking mama and the sea kittens thing just pushed me away. I do like animals, and it's a shame to see such beauties be killed like that, but I`m not worried. Everything is going to die, so I honestly do not see a reason to push myself over they crazy edge.
I will tell you this though, if ANYBODY layed their hands on MY dog, I'd fuck their face with a butterknife.

It's quite simple. Animals deserve rights just like we do. They're alive and have feelings, so there shouldn't be any argument on the fact that they should be protected from purposeful harm just like we are.

Actually, there's a lot you can do. Since we buy all sorts of CRAP from the Chinese in exchange for some of our best products, you can organize a boycott, or just not purchase their products yourself. You can write to your congressman and ask why we continue to overlook things like this and the mercury fiasco from a couple years ago, then you can contact all the rabble-rousers in your district and watch them alert the local media.Radeonx said:

For one thing, I never said my word was "law." For another thing, yes, he did insult my person with that bullshit comment about me causing a wreck in order to dodge a pidgeon. He was pretty much calling me a stupid conservationist, and he pissed me off. The fact that I'm not like that at all, and that he had no reason for saying that, angered me. And again, no, you're not supposed to take my word as law, I was simply pointing out the fact that torturing animals is wrong. I watched the video end to end and I'm not entirely convinced they were alive while they were being skinned. Having butchered animals for a while in AG, most of the animals would continue to move and look alive for about 15 minutes after death. And I knew they were dead, a pair of bullets through the head, dead. But a steer could still kick with enough force to knock someone out with no head. Also, the reason why these animals are bludgeoned to death instead of shot or at least stabbed somewhere quick and vital is that these animals are dying for fur so they need to keep the skin as intact as possible. A knife would in it's chest or a bullet hole in the head would lower its value on the market.

After being beaten these animals are flipped and skinned as are the cows. Does the size of the animal really matter?Rawker said:

With the added cost of painless death, due to decreased efficiency, or cost of sedatives, the "factory" will not be able to support as many workers, and thus a few Chinese laborers, and their families will starve, be forced into crime or prostitution, and otherwise have their lives taken over.
