Heck, I'm 24 and when I go to bed I tend to go through various fantasizing while I wait to fall asleep.

Yep. Lately it's been a problem though, pretty hard to sleep when your imagining all the things you're scared of one after the other.

..evil brain.

Yup. I even posted a daydreaming thread about it here...

*looks around*

Whoa, I'm in my room? I thought I was in space for a second there.

I was pretty rational so no but some dreams would put your fantasies to shame.
O RLY? I've gotten pretty intense with my stories/Dreams. And literal Dreams as well.

I'm way older than you...in my 30s... and I still use my imagination a lot. Why don't you do what I do and put your dreams on paper. I often have most of a story mapped out in my head before I ever start writing it. (But that's just me, and writing is something I've always enjoyed.)
Fantasies are a great part of life..they let you do things that could never happen in "real life"...they let escape from whatever is going on it your life and let's you come back to issues with a fresh perspective. I simply find them a great way getting my brain to focus on something other the usual grind of day to day life, and helps me drift off to sleep.

yesyesyesyesyesyes.

I am a loser when communicating with girls + I am a BRILLIANT writer (not understating) aspiring to be a manga artist. so these two ingredients cause me to fantasize on a regular basis. which just reminds me how much of a failure I am socially. it is nice to do though.

EDIT: I know, real life sucks. >.>

Yeah I do it like everyday with my video game idea.

I constantly play out my game trying to see how everything will connect with the gameplay.

i do make up stories in my imagination in a number of different scenarios, however, being the confused and demented teen i am, have very dark stories based on either my own world or a fictional game/movie/show world. by dark, i mean that characters that are extremely important to me die, my loved ones and friends shut me out and force me to live alone on the streets because of my super natural abilities and their unexpected side effects, and i commonly lose my mind/go insane/go on a blood crazed rampage/run from my growing list of enemies. then the as the story reaches its climax, my ex-loved ones, stand united with the single minded goal of taking me down, the man responsible for my condition and the unity of me enemifriends, confronts me, and declares his victory. at this point i am either killed, and mourned by no one or escape by the skin of my teeth only to live alone with nowhere to run in the world, surviving off of wild plants and woodland animals.

I use to pretend movies with my friends. We didn't have a camera but we came up with a plot and characters on the playground and treated it like a movie with one liners and crap. Now all I do is daydream at work and play made up movies in my head complete with music!

Shit I'm 30 and I still haven't grown up or stopped day dreaming about being a Jedi. You simply have a good imagination, nothing wrong if it's so active. I pity the fool with a dull mind.

I fantasize about me being one of my favorite characters from my favorite television, movie, video game, comic book, or book character. Sometimes I fantasize about my future or other stuff.

Ha... Well I suppose I don't have to go into detail seeing as how everyone else has pretty much covered it, but yeah. About half of my day is dreaming up stuff. I have no idea what I'll do with my ideas, but I enjoy them, so I figure I might as well use it as like my own personal TV station.

I daydream way too much. I find reality a little bit stilted and unsatisfying at times, so I fill in the gaps with my own fantasies. Of course it's important to know the difference between real life and your daydreams.

Yes and it annoys the hell out of me! I enjoy it sure, but I'm so nitpicky when it comes to the back story that other things I have to do get pushed out of the way. Oh well, but yes I do and it is pretty fun.

When don't I?

I dream and play out scenarios in my head all the time.

To tell you the truth that is all I ever do and I have been a very happy person because of it and at times very depressed but mostly happy.
