If you could do away with 1 gaming genre, what would it be?

EVERY game is point and click

just pointing and clicking in diffent ways.

First person shooters. Perhaps we can finally see some originality again if they were gotten rid of, so developers stop taking the easy option.

why are they even made? it's probubly cheaper (and shock and awe, healthier) to buy a basketball and play hoops with some friends, or by yourself.

Halo-Like FPS games (which would probably include Halo since it's... like... halo)
Sports games (or at least get them redesigned so they are less stupid)
Simulators (you know sims).

And, personally, I'd do away with RTS because I just find it so boring.... BORING! Emphasis on BORING!

I wouldn't do away with any. Sure, there's genres I hate, but what's the point in doing away with them?

I know this topic is just for fun, so I'll go ahead and rephrase it to "your least favorite genre", and for that I'll have to go with fighting games. Mostly because I really suck at them.

There's no genre I can think of that I'd want to eliminate outright, but if made to choose I'd say sports games, and even then there's probably one or two things there I'd like.

Any and every rail gun shooter. EVER! I don't even know where this hate comes from but I can't stand not being able to move anywhere but where the game tells you to. I mean that you can choose you paths depending on certain things but not being able to go through whatever door you want really irks me.
Edit: Also and Madden games or football games. They are just pointless to me.
