From what I can figure you basically have two options, since the tenets of democracy don't work in your country, see Michael Atkinson, you can either just let them censor your internet or you can get off your beaches/stop going to work/school/sitting around playing video games and protest your government. Get your asses up the capital building or whatever you have in Aussie-land and tell them you will not eat until they stop censoring your internet, give you a +18 rating and start treating you like adults. The monarch is just a figurehead with very little legal power. The Queen has the power to make very minor decisions, but she cannot affect parliament in anyway to my knowledge. She particularly has no power in Australia as we're completely legally independent.

People like michael atkinson and the shitty laws they press will only last till the next election, that is assuming that it realy is the majority decision. as much as it sucks balls, democracy can't be defined by who can throw the loudest tantrum.

of course it would be a whole lot easier if we were a Republic and decisions couldnt be vetoed by a sing attorny general. but then again, majority decides and the mionorities have to suck it up.
