I don't see what the point is. So she killed it with an arrow...no she hit it with an arrow and the elephant died of the wound. That's like saying you trip one and fall and die, so...the thing that tripped you would be the thing that killed you? A rock killed you? Sad.

On topic, I think this situation is stupid for another reason, it's no feat at all, how about I go right up to it and cut it with a steak knife maybe 3 times let it bleed to death. So I can say I killed an elephant with a steak knife? Stupid woman, do something that actually warrants some praise.

I can say that the only creatures that have sex for enjoyment are humans, seahorses, and dolphins. Enjoy saying wrong about that too.

Oh, and dont say dogs. They do it to show their dominance, similar to many other animals. Dominance also applies to animals killing each other.

Im not going to argue that animals dont enjoy killing each other, there has to be some aspect to enjoying it to keep doing it but killing other animals is a pain in the ass for most, and it takes a significat investment of energy and effort and risk so most animals cant aford to just do it for pleasure, they have to do it to eat. Humans however have made killing a simple point and click proccess which is so easy anyone, of any age can do it casualy as long as they can sit still for a bit

Most animals shot with a bow bleed out. There is nothing remarkable about that. It takes real guts to shoot one from 12 yards, it could have trampled her easily before it died.

That's not true... If you have a powerful enough draw-strength and have good aim it is pretty easy to pierce the heart and lungs for many animals, such as deer, fowl, wild hogs, etc.

As a bowhunter, I am amazed at such a kill, yet ashamed at her for killing for only sport.

I absolutely DESPISE sport-hunters. Anyone who kills an animal for any reason other than killing an animal should be hunted themselves. Whenever I hunt, I make sure that it's an animal that I can eat. Hunting and killing an animal, then not giving the animal its respect in death by making sure that its body is put to good use is despicable. I also hate bow-fishers and sport-fishers who catch things like sharks and rays when odds are they're just going to end up throwing them away or turned into cat-food.

As I said before... people like her aren't real hunters... they're murderers.

It doesnt. Its just that the woman left the animal to suffer, and she just decided to kill it because she wanted to. And she enjoyed just killing it, not hunting it because she needed to to survive, and probably not because she liked elephant meat in particular. (I say this in case you ask why we bother having any food other than just what we need to survive)

Most, but are all of these most included in the regular household bugs that people kill? That I kill? I can recall moths, spiders, and ants. All of which I make sure are dead before I either flush them or throw them out into the garbage, assuming I dont save them instead.

Oh, and for your own satisfaction, most people find an elephant much more adorable than an insect. But most of the time, when you kill a bug, the death is near-instantaneous. Once again, the animal suffered in the night. But obvisously, once again, you dont care.

Wrong. Most bugs are resistant to what we consider to be a fatal blow.

Ok, but are all of the household bugs that we kill included in this "most"? I can at least speak for myself and say that I go out of my way to make a quick, clean kill, assuming I dont free any bugs I find in my house, which so far, has only been ants, moths, and spiders.

Next time you crush an ant, look at it. It will most likely still be alive, squirming in pain as a pile of broken exoskeleton.

Same goes for moths and spiders. Also just because they're not moving, it does not mean they are dead. You have merely crippled them.
