Huh. I think I just spent the last 10 seconds trying to figure out if this is a good idea or not(the DiCaprio-Riddler thing). I honestly have no idea is this would work or not.

That would be awesome but did anyone else notice that all the actors that they were thinking about were all in Inception?

Johny Deep should be Riddler.
I HAVE SPOKEN!
Yes and tim burton should direct./Sarcasm

I'm sick of Johnny Depp, he seems to only be playing characters that you can be sure will molest a child if they get the chance.
Johnny Depp and Tim Burton = two of the most over rated people in "hollywood" at the moment. Seems anything they touch will sell, but is a big steaming pile of do do.

I could so imagine brad pit as the Riddler, look at 12 monkeys and fight club and you could see it easily :)

Di Caprio I think has the ability to do this role, but he also has the ability to do it very badly.

Someone may have said this (or some parts of this) already, but...

Joker = Daniel Day Lewis
Riddler = David Tennant
Zsasz = Leonardo DiCaprio
(Note: there are other actors that could do Zsasz REALLY well, but if you've seen other flicks that he's done ("What's Eating Gilbert Grape"...I mistakenly marveled at how well the acting coaches got the handicapped kid to memorize his lines until it was Leo deserving of an Oscar), you'll know that Leo could exit the box he gets pigeon-holed in and act his fucking ass off enough to be a kickass Zsasz.

And just 'cause I think it could work...

Killer Croc/Clayface = Vin Diesel

Please don't cast Fox

I would of liked Jim Carrey to reprise his old role, he was relly good at portraying crazy.

Please do not let anyone mentioned in this post be associated with this film, (barring Leo - but he's not who I'd cast as the riddler at all).

This.

Also, The Riddler? Surely, there are better villains left. I mean really? The Riddler? I can't express my distaste.

I, for one, hope that this information is a collection of lies and salamander slander.
Hey if you player AA, they did the Riddler dam well, and if it's that style then well, fantastic

The reaction of Ledger taking on the role was eerily similar to this.

"Don't get me wrong, he's a great actor but he isn't fit for the role!"

Nolan is an immensely talented director and gets great performances from his actors. Whoever he casts will be great - and he would know a lot more about DiCaprio and how he will go than we would.

I also feel Jim Carrey should be the Riddler.

Sure he's already been The Riddler, but now I think he should play a whole different kind of Riddler.

I've seen a few mention his age, but he's only 48, and has held up damn well. Sure he's a bit more grizzled looking, but I think that would add to the character.

Of course we all know this is just a fantasy, and would never happen, but it would be fucking great. I just hope Johnny Depp has nothing to do with the damn movie, we don't want the Riddler to needlessly have some variety of a European accent.

I think if it was to be DiCaprio, it could turn out to be the same situation we had with Heath Ledger. Everyone groaned and grumbled that they were going to do a terrible job The Joker, and the first time anyone saw footage of Heath Ledger in purple and green, they lost it.
Completely agree with this. i think we just need to wait and see how it turns out =)
Yup, Plus for everyone ccomplaining about the riddler as a villain. He is definatly on of THE classical Batman villains, like Joker Penguin and Catwoman, all that cool "uberevil" animated series and 90s comic villains havent deserved an introduction to the movies before him. Additionally to that the riddler has potential for a phantastic dark evil and lunatic sadistic villain. Let's play some games batsy

i kinda don't like the title batman 3 because i liked the dark knight so freaking much it was so intense and with the title batman 3 it looks like they are going back to those childish old 80's movies

Ho can you make the Riddler darker? He was alway one of the comical DC villans. Also, I don't think hes gonna be main bad guy, hes gonna end up being lke Twoface in The Dark Night. Penguin is a much more popular villan so I tink they might use him.

Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie, Cher, Kate Beckinsale, Shia LaBeouf, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp and Eddie Murphy.

If they're crossed out, I'm not watching Batman 3 if they're in it. The difference between Heath Ledger and that lot is that Ledger wasn't known to be a good actor but turned out to be, where as they're all known to not be good actors or incredibly annoying, with the exceptions of Depp and Murphy, so long as they actually make an effort and not think "This film will sell since I'm in it, no need to try".

I'm hoping that leo gets it, or mark strong perhaps. He plays archy in rock n rolla aswell as salim, head of jordanian intelligence in body of lies.
The thing i like about the new batman films is that they have an open playbook, with the exception of batman they can choose anyone to pick up the mantle for the bad guys. With the other Nolan writing once again i can't see this being a bad film.
