I guess I can see your point, Matt, but Leo has shown he can do serious, dark, psychotic characters really well (see Shutter Island for the best recent example, or The Aviator for a less dark version), and given it's still the Nolanverse series at the moment I can't see the Riddler being the same 'happy-crazy', "Riddle Me This" type he was in the comics or when he was played by Jim Carrey. Im quite a big fan of Johnny Depp too, and I know he's done darker characters really well too (From Hell and Sweeney Todd come to mind), but those are mainly comic roles to a degree as well, especially in the latter. I can't see him really fitting this role. But Leo Di Caprio could pull this off. I say, give him a chance, if the producers have him in mind for the role. Remember, when Heath Ledger was announced as the Joker I think people were just as skeptical, yet he pulled it off amazingly well (regardless of the hype after he died, I saw the film afterwards and his performance was outstanding regardless of the hype).Matt_LRR said:Please do not let anyone mentioned in this post be associated with this film, (barring Leo - but he's not who I'd cast as the riddler at all).

As far as Megan Fox, Cher and Angelina Jolie? Forget about it. I don't particularly want any of them involved anyway, and none of them save Jolie could really pull off Catwoman that well. And to be honest, I'm starting to get tired of her now, personally (good actress, but even so...).
