Coheed and Cambria twice (Kerrang tour and black rainbow tour) in newcastle and they were amazing, i also saw circa survive, fighstar and madina lake with coheed at the kerrang tour. I saw crime in stereo, set your goals, four year strong and new found glory in newcastle too because they were all touring together four year strong stol the show and everyone was amazing apart from crime in stereo who were abysmal.

Let's see... The most memorable:

The Vandals: Fantastic. They even played "Don't Stop Me Now."

Bloodhound Gang: The bassist ate some Hannah Montana cereal, drank a pint of Jägermeister, vomited it back up, drank the vomit, then vomited again.

Senses Fail: The lead singer fucking jumped off a twenty-foot amp tower and did a roll mid-song.

Asher Roth: They were SO terrible, the crowd was damn silent until the leader shouted, "YOU GUYS LIKE WEED?" Suddenly, everyone thought they were the shit.

Iron Maiden-It was insanely epic (it was Rock in Rio 2003, a time to remember)
Foo Fighters - Good show. Almost hooked up with a cute chick.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Epic
Staind - Pretty good
Three Doors Down - Awesome
Opeth - Freaking awesome even after being dropped on my head.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra (2) - Epic, again
Iron Maiden - Up the mother fuckin' irons.

I can't believe you were at Rock in Rio '03. Easily one of my favorite concerts of all time.

Seen Biffy Clyro (scottish rock band) twice in the Brixton Academy. Was amazing both times.
Seen the Foo Fighters once at the Wembley Stadium. Was mind-blowing.

Seeing Biffy Clyro again this year in December at the Wembley Stadium.
Going to the Leeds and Reading Festival in two weeks time. (Will see many bands, including Guns n' Roses, Biffy Clyro, Blink 182, Weezer, etc.)

I've only been to Latitude festival twice but it's been good. Oh and Coldplay at Wembley... don't judge me!

As for stand out bands I've seen I'd say Of Montreal just beacuse they are so mental to watch. In fact considering they were outside at a festival they must have been fairly constrained compared to other shows they've done. Wow.

Bat For Lashes, was good but to be hoenst couldn't pay much attention as my feet were so sore I was struggling to stand up.

White Lies, seen them twice they're pretty good though I left early one time because I was on the verge of snapping and beating someone up. Fucking crowd surfers.

Editors, really good though kind of spoiled by the fact that I did snap and beat someone up. Fucking crowd surfers.

Mumford and Sons, very good plus it was just fun to hear 4000 people shouting "It was your heart on the line, I really FUCKED it up this time! Didn't I my dear?"

Hockey, the bass player was soooo stoned! He kept showing us this big leaf he found that looked like a cannabis leaf.

But the ultimate live band I've seen, who I probably mention every day on here not that anyone notices, who I plan to seen again in october is CRYSTAL CASTLES!
Nothing else comes close, more fun to see than anyother live band. She'll spend half the gig crowd surfing and drinking vodka and the other half dancing and screaming.

Obligatory video post.

Korn - Amazing. They've always been one of my favourite bands, and they really blew me away.

Billy Talent - I saw them earlier this month actually. Pretty good show, though the main punch came in at the encore, which had so much atmosphere it was scary.

Agro - The granddaddies of South African heavy metal. They put on a good show, though the atmosphere they generated was amazing.

HORSE The Band - They were alright, though they only thing which carried the show was the mosh and the comedy; the songs themselves weren't preformed very well.

NOFX - Just awesome. It was my first gig and the very friendly vibe was welcoming. I don't think I'd be moshing nearly as much if that had been a crap or hectic mosh. To this day that was the best mosh I've ever been in.

I've seen other bands too, they just weren't amazing or didn't blow me away. Special mention should be made of 30 Seconds to Mars, for being the worst live act I think I will ever see in my life.

Enter Shikari - both times suitably immense
The King Blues - these two times were also rather good
Your Demise - not really my thing at the time, but they were a support and I did eventually get their album
Rolo Tomassi - again, a support band and an experience I'd rather forget
Carnelian (local band) - was a good night out
The Weeknights (local band) - another good night out

Sonisphere UK:
Iron Maiden =]
Rammstein =]
Pendulum =]
Alice Cooper =]
Slayer =]
Europe =]
Motley Crue =|
Turisas =]
Alice in Chains =[
Skindred =]
Anthrax =|
Delain =[
Gary Numan =|
Apocalyptica =|

I'm sure there were a few more, but I can't remember.

I'm going to see Bowling for Soup in October, Motorhead in November and possibly Pendulum again in December. I'm also going to LimeTree Festival this year.
Awww! You lucky [explicit]. What a good lineup! I want to go to a Rammstein concert so bad, as I have all their songs. And then Iron Maiden? God...

I've never been to a concert but I've always wondered what they were like. Anybody think they can describe it to me, or is it just too awesome?

Ive seen 30 seconds to Mars, they were amazing! So good infact im seeing them again in a few months.
Ive also seen Lostprophets who were pretty good but at the end just wandered off the stage without a goodbye or anything to signify it was the end of the show. Was a bit of an anticlimax to be honest :(

Lights and Nightwish have been the only two.

Both of them were awesome, and memories that will stay with me until I die. ^_^
I'm so jealous of you.

As for me:

Metallica - Fantastic. I have loved Metallica since I was a 4 year old, so seeing them live was a dream come true. Seats were far back though, wish I could have gotten closer.

Mastadon / Dethklok - Both fantastic experiences that I can't wait to repeat. The bands that opened form them though were some of the most awful things I have ever heard. Honestly would have been 100% better had the opening bands been Fallout Boy and Britney Spears, so that should tell you how terrible the opening acts were.

DragonForce / Turisas / Powerglove - Most epic thing ever. I went for Powerglove (who was unsigned at the time) and Turisas (who are one of my top 5 favorite bands). Was drunk and had a sever headache and throatache the next morning from all the jumping and shouting. Brings a tear to my eye remembering it.

Tyr / Alestorm - Completely awesome. I went for Alestorm and loved it. Was a small venue (maybe 50-70 people) and the band was walking around with the crowd and drinking and goofing off.

Origin - Small show and pretty good. Probably bottom of my list though.

I've seen Coldplay, Muse, Death Cab for Cutie and Something for Kate - if you are talking about "big" bands. I've seen a stack of local or lesser known bands.

All of them were absolutely fantastic in different ways. Coldplay was the concert I remembered for the longest though, which is odd because Coldplay aren't one of my favourite bands. But they were so talented and had such a great presence on stage. They were amazing.

I've gone to literally a hundred shows, but Rush, two years ago, would be THE best concert I have ever had the privilege of attending.
That Rush show from 2 years back wasn't also in Winnipeg, was it? If so, I was actually at that concert too. Sadly, I didn't have as good a time as you did... during or after the show. hehe

Bigger bands I've seen plus a short comment:

Motörhead x2: Their concert in Wacken 2006 is to this day the best one I've seen.
Scorpions: Not great.
Europe x2: I know most of their 80's songs by heart, so pretty fun for me. Do not like the newer stuff.
Cannibal Corpse x2: Definitely worth checking out live, if you like heavier metal.
Slash with band: Excruciatingly boring.
Meshuggah: Absolutely fantastic.
Amon Amarth: Outstanding.
Helloween: Pretty good. The singer is great at pleasing the crowd.
Sonic Syndicate x2: Awful. Both times.
Mayhem: Boring as hell.
Vader x2: You -need- to experience them live if you like metal at all.
Dark Tranquillity: Rather disappointing.
Arch Enemy: Likewise, though they had major sound problems.

I think I have seen something along the lines of 80-120 bands in total live, but these are the bigger ones off the top of my head.
