Basara sighed. "Ah, relax Karnak. Does it really matter? You'll forget, Verahl'll kick your butt, we go there anyways, deal goes down just fine. Hopefully. Besides, unless you've got a date tommorrow, does it really matter?" He grinned.

Karnak:

"Matters what I do for the next few hours, yes. Now again, why don't you mind your damn business instead of cutting into things," he grunted, clearly annoyed by the hastle each were putting him through.

"You gotta start winding down Karnak man, we're all on the same team here and we gotta watch each others backs but anyway..."

Ocara shifted his attention to Raven once more, he was bothered by Karnak's xenophobia, aliens could be ok... Especially Humans.

"Yeah Raven, what time we setting off?"

Btw what time is it in the RP? I'm guessing 4-5 PM right?

Thayna felt her temper flare at both the Batarian's tone and the insult he sent through his body language.

"I was only asking why you didn't ask yourself. I suggest you show your fellows a little more courtesy."

As Thayna and Karnack argued, Meer lumbered over from the kitchen, looming behind the Batarian with a sour look on his face. He tapped Karnack's shoulder. The batarian turned around to find the krogan's head slamming into him at breakneck speed. As the alien hit the floor Meer rubbed his neck a bit. "Damn Batarians, right? Always an attitude problem."

Karnak:

Karnak started to draw his pistol before he even hit the ground, and had it aimed at the Krogan's head shortly after. He lay still, looking down the sights of the pistol, the sides coated with a holographic yellow tint.

"Hypocritical, over aggressive Krogans. Surprising to run into another," he hissed. "Thought I got rid of them all."

Meer drew his own pistol, casually aiming it in the batarian's direction.

"Don't kid yourself Karnak." Meer said, scoffing at him. "You couldn't kill me with a whole clip, and all I have to do is step on your neck. Go bother someone else before this gets ugly."

Karnak:

"All that's needed is a shot in the right place," he said, his pistol continueing to hover pointed at the Krogan's large neck. "Now step back, you hypocritical animal."

"Maybe I am an animal." Meer responded. "But a hypocrite? Bah, I do as comes natural to me. The krogan weed out the weak, the ones unfit for life. Those who remain are strong, physically and mentally. The batarians have no such advantage. And that's how we get runts like you, who hide their own cowardice and fear behind a wall of spite."

Sal stood up from her chair and glared at both Karnak and Meer. "Will both of you knock it off! We haven't even had a real mission yet and you two are already at each others throats. If you don't knock it off, whoever survives your worthless argument will be killed." She warned folding her arms in front of her.

Karnak:

Karnak glared down the sights of his pistol.

"Then maybe I should put you down like a fucking Varren," he hissed once more. "Now get away from me."

Keith:

Keith hopped the sofa and ran up to the Krogan's side, putting his arms on Meer's massive arm.

"Hey buddy, everyone should just take a minute to calm down. Breath in and out and all. In and out... In and out... We feeling better?" he quickly spat out, attempting to cool the situation.

Christ, we don't need this, we don't need this! The implications and possibilities raced through his mind as he realized how stupid it was to grab onto a drunk Krogan's arm, especially when that arm is holding a gun.

Dray:

Dray stood behind the counter, watching the situation unfold. The moment he saw guns fly from holsters however, and tensions raise even higher, he had already thrown himself behind the counter, his arms clutching his legs tightly to his chest.

No bangs, no bangs, please please no bangs!

"Well I know how this ends." Yossar sighed, he walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a cup of dextro amino coffee.

"Relax Dray, I've seen this happen half a dozen times." He said looking at how Dray had curled up under the counter.

Light bathed Raven's arm as he used heavy throw to slam Meer into wall without causing to much damage. He had his practice with Lux to thank for the ability to move the massive Krogan. Stalking forward, he posted his pistol at Karnak's head before speaking. "Listen to me right now. When Verahl isn't here, I'm your boss, your God and Devil, and if necessary your executioner." Glaring at Meer, he continued "The last thing I need is for a strung out Krogan to go and attract attention to us again. We are on the crux of becoming the key power in this district and if you become a threat to that," he paused as he turned to look at Karnak as well, "Either of you. Then I will personally make sure that what happened to the last threat to this company will look like a glorious release compared to what I will do to you. Am I understood."

Verahl:

Verahl turned the corner to the common room. His Revanent was held in his hands, but not pointed at anyone as he saw Meer pull himself up from the otherside of the room.

"Karnak, Meer, Raven. All of you upstairs and in the office. NOW." the tone in his voice was one of pure annoyance and anger. He expected much more from them then what he had witnessed from the cameras.

Karnak:

Karnak lowered his pistol, but shot a look of disgust at Raven as he stood over him.

I don't need a damn human saving my ass.

He slowly rised, rubbing his head as he did. He noticed blood on his hand when he looked at it.

This better not scar.

He continued to rub it as he stumbled towards the stairwell. The blow had left him a bit disoriented.

"Dray, get me some painkillers," he said as he passed the kitchen.

Raven grimaced at Verahl town before turning on his heel. "Roger Bossman." Moving past Verahl, he disappeared from sight around the corner.

"Knew it, the CO always breaks it up," Yossar told Dray, taking a victory sip of coffee.

"You see Dray, the difference is in how he does it," He was whispering now, he had a feeling Raven might not like him critiqing his leadership style at this moment, " locking the guns, aiming guns at both of them, seen one guy get in the line of fire and made them back down. Raven used forced, which is respectable, but I bet Verahl would have just yelled them into submission, just like he did to get them into his office."

Dray:

Dray slowly peeked his head from over the counter. He saw Karnak walking past him. He had heard the loud thud echo through the room when Meer hit the wall and was afraid of what had happened.

"Dray, get me some painkillers,"

Dray quickly ran to a cupboard, looking for the medical kit they kept inside. While he looked, he couldn't help but turn back to glance at Yossar, standing calmly as he simply had watched the situation unfold over his cup of coffee.

"You see Dray, the difference is in how he does it, locking the guns, aiming guns at both of them, seen one guy get in the line of fire and made them back down. Raven used forced, which is respectable, but I bet Verahl would have just yelled them into submission, just like he did to get them into his office."

Dray paused for a moment, having difficulty understanding what Yossar was meaning. To him, being yelled and screamed at was just as frightening as having a gun pointed at his face. He quickly tried to shake the thought off as he continued to rummage through the cupboards.
