"Did you have 'annoying' for breakfast?" Sylas asked Duncan. Somehow, seeing him all peppy so early in the morning made him want to go back to sleep. He got up and took the food graciously from Magnus. "Thanks, but be more considerate next time you get breakfast for everyone." He said, smiling and gesturing to Duncan.
"It's not that early. It's seven-forty." Magnus told the group. "You're all welcome, by the way. As for Duncan, Sylas, he bought his own breakfast before I even made it to the coffee-shop."
Magnus made sure his own Pokemon were fed, as well. He drank his coffee, and talked with the group of Trainers he had just supplied with food.
"Thanks Magnus." Brandon said taking a drin of his coffee. "And to answer your question Duncan, I have I just like sleeping more." he said cheering up.
After everyone had eaten, drank, and let the food settle, they were ready to set out.
"Alright." Magnus said at the last minute. "Is everyone ready, no one forgetting anything?"
Everyone was ready, and had everything they needed. It was time to head out onto the road.
"Let's go, then." Magnus said, leading the group outside. The group started walking through the city, headed towards Route 30, just north of Cherrygrove.
As the began the next leg of their journey, Sylas admired the scenery. A hoarfrost had came the night before, and now that the sun was reaching higher in the sky everything took on a white, prismatic appearance. "So, I'm new around here. Where are we headed to next?".
"Right, Violet City." Magnus said to Mark. "Duncan, you're the local. Violet City has a Flying-Type Gym, as well as Sprout Tower, right? That means Bellsprout are common in the area. I'd love to catch one, I've not trained a Grass-Type yet."
"There won't be any Oddish here, unless someone released some into the wild. And we won't see any Bellsprout until we hit Route 31, which won't be for a day or two." Magnus said to Aoife when she asked. "Still, you might see some Marill or Ledyba if you're lucky. Plenty of Bug Pokemon, too."
"My favourite," said Elena, rolling her eyes and grinning with the heavy sarcasm. In her right hand, she tossed a Pokeball up and down, up and down, smacking softly against her small palm as it landed. She ran a hand through her bangs to tuck them behind an ear, and gazed to the sky, seeming utterly at ease on the winding road.
"Sprout Tower should be good for some battles, at least," she remarked with eagerness. "Hermes'll definitely have a good advantage over all these bugs- not that I mind a little easy victories."
"A Marill? Oh, how cute..." Aoife said to herself, finally picking up Ruby, who had slowed her down. She let the Pokemon climb up her arm and eventually onto her shoulder. Feeling unbalanced, Aoife slung her bag onto her other shoulder, balancing the weight.
"Yeah, there's Marill here. At least during the day." Magnus explained, looking at the Pokedex. "At night the Poliwag come out, but so do the Spinarak. Those are nasty little buggers. Their bite is poisonous, and it'll leave you with a nasty welt that itches like crazy. Some people, if they're allergic, have much worse reactions."
The group continued walking for about two hours, several of them opted to take a break. The group settled on a location near a small pond, where they could catch some sunlight, and maybe some Pokemon.
They weren't the only ones here, however. Several other Trainers were in the area, taking advantage of the warmer day to get out and about with their Pokemon. The group of Trainers let out their own Pokemon, giving them a bit of a chance to stretch their legs.
You will now be taking the role of your Pokemon. This will give you a chance to better characterize them, and give them a personality. Have fun!
With a rush of wind and light, Minos rejoined their world, the grass crushed beneath his rough hooves. He extended his neck and shook his head vigorously, and scratched at the ground with his hooves a few times to loosen his legs. Feeling the sunlight warm his face ever so slightly, he gazed upward to the sky and snorted.
He was soon joined by Hermes, who stretched his long wings sternly; Scraps, who merely sat taking in his surroundings with mild curiousity; and Starda, who floated face-up in the nearby pond. Elena herself sat near the water and pulled a bag of crackers from her satchel, munching on them with a sort of satisfaction. Scraps waddled over to her, one paw in his mouth like a young child, and began to tug at her pants leg. Looking down, she smiled to the Sandshrew, and handed him a treat.
I wonder if any of these Trainers would be a good match for Scraps, she thought as she scanned the area.
Brandon let out his pokemon, sat down on a dry rock and pulled out his book. Rash and Jack glared at eachother. "No fighting you two." Brandon warned as he opened his book.
"Why can't you two ever get along." Faith asked them both
"Becasue he's an idot." Rash said still glaring at Jack. "And your a moron!" Jack said getting into a fighting stance. "Oh bring it on" Rash said raiseing his fists.
Lilly's eyes began to glow blue as she liffeted Rash. Dictus transformed into a Typhlosion, mimicing Quilz almost perfectly, except the flames on his back were a bit smaller, and pinned Jack on the ground.
"Both of you knock it off." Lilly warned "You both know we could esaily knock you both out." Dictus said a smoke started to come out of Faiths shell. "Fine" they both said. Dictus got up and ttrnasformed back to it's useual pink blobby self, and Lilly dropped Rash.
"I'm going to the pond." Rash said walking over towards the pond "I'm going to see if the Scyther is as good a sowrds man as he thinks he is." Jack said streching and walking over to Vandal. All three of Brandons remaining pokemon sighed. "I'll never understand them." Lilly said "I'm not sure we're ment to." Faith said Dictus nodded, or what you would call nodding on a gelatinus blob.
"I didn't know you could talk, Dictus?" Lilly said lookeing at the Ditto. Dictus then transformed again this time into Lilly. "Sure but only when I Transform." It's said in a deeper voice than Lillys. "Huh the wierdest part is that that actually makes sense." Lilly said arching an eyebrow. Dictus shrugged and transformed back.
By the way sporky you don't have to have Jack and Vandal fight now we can do that later.
