Yeah, maybe not now. But I look forward to it later.
"You should lighten up." Baron said to Vandal matter-of-factly. The scyther stood looking over the water, not wanting to talk to the smaller pokemon. Baron was standing in the shallow water, swinging his club through the crust of ice on the surface and watching the sprays of water. He kicked through a larger chunk of ice, enjoying what little time he would be able to stand the frigid water.
Vandal flinched as he was assaulted by a cold spray. Shaking off his scythes, he glared at the cubone. "You're too clingy." he said, finally. Baron gave him a look that said 'really? That's it?' and turned away. "You might actually enjoy yourself for once." He said, moving over to an unbroken part of ice.
"Well since all the cool kids are doing it." Mark said letting out Combusken. He noticed Combusken eyeing up Faith as he put the pokeball away. "Hey none of that got it?"
"Combusken."
"Go make friends with some of the other pokemon if your going to be that way, and no fighting."
Combusken dejectedly complied and walked off toward the lake. Mark walked over to the rock Magnus was sitting on. "I don't think I'll ever understand what goes through that head of his."
Duncan let his two Pokemon out and explore. Ponyta was happy to just melt the snow and graze, as Houndour scurried around rolling in the snow, and shaking the melted water out of her fur, You should calm down, you're getting water all over the place Ponyta said calmly barely looking up from her meal, And you should learn to get a little more excited over things, the world isn't all about grass you know.
I'm happy with what I have, said Ponyta, while Houndour ran around her heels, playfully nipping at her.
Brandon, you do realize your Torkoal's name if Fate not Faith, right? Faith was the name of Rodney's Clefairy.
Quillz looked down at the tiny Pokemon attracting her attention. She knelt down on all-fours, and listened to Rascal apologize to her.
"It's alright, sweetie." Quillz said in a kind voice. "I forgive you for biting Magnus. You shouldn't have, though. He's a kind man, and doesn't like causing pain to Pokemon outside of battle. It's him you should apologize to."
Quillz approached a tree, and plucked two Oran Berries. She handed one to Rascal, and the other to Calhoun.
"You boys behave yourselves, now." She said, turning her attention to Garnet and Eon.
Eon was chasing after Garnet as she looked at all the new Pokemon to meet. She stopped and decided to play with the Houndour that Eon had battled earlier.
"Hi!" Garnet said cheerfully. "Wanna play with me?"
Eon caught up to them, and nodded at the Ponyta.
"Garnet, don't go so fast. If you were to get lost, then Mom would be pissed." Eon said, referring to Quillz as his mother. His own mother was a Leafeon who lived in Celadon City with her Trainer. He was the result of a tryst between Reynard and this Leafeon.
"I wanna play with them!" Garnet whined, pointing at Houndour and Ponyta. "Please?"
"Alright, little sis. Just don't run off, alright?" Eon said to her, playing the big brother. Garnet went back to the Houndour, and once again asked...
"Oh what's wrong now?" Lilly asked in an annoyed tone.
"Turns out Vandal isn't in the mood so now I'm left with nothing to do but sit here in the cold and snow." He said kicking at the snow.
"Oh is that all." Lilly said taking a kinder tone. "C,mere I want to give you something." She said taking Jacks head in between her hands. He flinched expecting pain but was instead greeted with a warm feeling. All of a sudden he was happy just to be out and about. "Well that was awesome. What did you do?" Jack said smiling
"I transferred the general happy emotions into you. Think about it everyone here is having a good time except you. Even the Scyther is enjoying himself, but he's just good at hiding it." Lilly said with a laugh "You were a Krilia once, don't you remember the feeling you got when you were around anybody happy?"
"Hehe, I guess I may have forgotten." Jack said rubbing the back of his head. "C'mon I bet I could beat you in a snowball fight!" He said running towards a small area tha had some undisturbed snow. "Yeah right." Lilly said running after.
*Facepalm* Yeah I know it's Fate. for some reason I want to type Faith. I don't know why? Any way I fixed my previous post.
Houndour looked at the new Pokemon, Ya this guy is boring like you would not believe, one with such long legs was born to run, instead she is content to eat. Careful Ponyta, you might get as fat as a Snorlax soon!
Ponyta just flared her nostrils, If you don't get out of here, I'm gonna show you just how fast I can run then you'll be sorry she paused and added a small little quip, Besides everyone knows I could beat you at a race..
Houndour started to wag her tail, knowing Ponyta was just bugging her, You're on for another time, she turned at looked again at the other two Pokemon, Let's play tag or something, I'm so wired right now, I just wanna run and run around. She made her point by running in circles until she fell in the snow, it melting around her, with a small amount of steam rising from the ground, while she barked with happiness.
"Alright! I'll be it first!" Garnet said, chasing after Houndour. The little Cyndaquil ran after Eon and Houndour, and managed to catch her brother. "Tag, you're it!"
"I'm gonna get you!" Eon said, chasing after the two Fire-Types. Eon chased his half-sister and Houndour around the field. He began to use a Quick Attack to intercept Houndour, but she turned another direction, and he couldn't stop in time. He accidentally bumped into Baron, causing the two to slip on the ice.
Barons skull made a hollow, almost comedic clunk as it hit the ice. He rolled over and stood up shakily, laughing. "Hehe, does that mean I'm 'it' now?"
Instead of an answer, Eon giggled and ran for the shore. Baron ran as fast as he could after him, using his tiny claws to keep his tenuous footing. He climbed onto the shore and ran into the crowd of playful pokemon, scattering them.
Houndour was having the time of her life. It wasn't often she got to play like this. Ponyta was older than her, and didn't want to play, always so serious about herself. As she playfully dodged and played with the other Pokemon, she felt comfortable and at home.
Ponyta continued to graze, moving closer and closer to the water. She wanted to find the best grass and the stuff closer to water, even frozen water, made for the best grass. She saw the Scyther, lost in it's thoughts, "You find yourself, not wanting to lose yourself to the playful nature of the little ones as well?"
"They're young..." Quillz said to Ponyta as she sat by the pond. "Let them play.. Having a little bit of fun every now and again isn't so bad..."
Quillz took a breath, and faced the icy water. She let out a small Flamethrower to melt the ice-covering on the water. She got down on her front legs, and knelt to take a drink. As she lapped the cool water with her tongue, a small blue orb appeared in front of her face. Then, a round face, with little round ears popped up from the water.
Eon was It, and he was chasing after Baron and Garnet. They both ran towards a tree, and he followed them. They each turned a different direction, and he accidentally smacked into a tree, causing it to shake.
"Ow... Wait, did I just use Headbutt?" Eon wondered, looking up at the tree. A few Bug Pokemon, mostly Caterpie and some Weedle, fell onto the ground. Then, a heavier Pokemon fell from the tree. It was a dark blue beetle-like thing with a massive pronged horn on its nose. Eon had knocked down a Heracross... And an angry looking one at that.
Various Bug-Types have fallen from the trees, and a few Water-Types are in the water. You can take over your Trainers now. Fanklok, you said you wanted a Fighting-Type... Heracross is Bug-Fighting.
Mark took out his pokedex and scanned across the wild pokemon. "Alright Combusken show time." He shouted over and Combusken ran over towards him. "We're gonna catch that Heracross so go over and give it a good double kick."
Combusken ran towards the furious Heracross who was to busy getting ready to charge Eon to notice, giving Combusken the chance to land 4 solid kicks. Heracross turned it's full attention to it's assailant and barreled forward with a horn attack. "Jump over it." Combusken lept into the air but Heracross turned it's head upward and smacked Combusken in the back. Combusken landed on his feet facing Heracross.
"Finish it with ember." Combusken torched Heracross with a slue of embers but it just readied it self for another attack. "Now really end this with peck." Combusken charged forward faster then Heracross could react to and hit it square in the chest with peck. Mark threw a pokeball at Heracross and it went inside, the pokeball shook a bit as they always seems to do then dinged showing the catch was a success.
As Aoife scooped Ruby back into her arms, she noticed something floating in the water. It looked vaguely like a blue ball. Aoife squinted for a few moments before realising it was a Marill?s tail. She giggled with excitement, her first time to ever catch a Pokemon, properly.
?Okay Ruby, don?t hurt it too much.? Aoife laughed, tossing a small pebble at the tail.
The Marill?s head bobbed up and was met with a great stance from Ruby. The Marill dipped its head into the water and then let out a water gun. Ruby was knocked back a few paces but remained standing. She shook the water off of her fur, awaiting her command.
?We need to lure it out; try teeter dance!?
The Spinda began to dance and chant various chants as she moved her hands from side to side, hips swaying in a hypnotizing rhythm. Soon, the Marill?s eyes started to watch the dance and its body was forced to dance along. The Marill, now confused, stumbled out of the water and continued to dance.
?Now use drain punch!?
Ruby?s hand lit up with orange lights flickering around it. Before connecting her punch with the Marill?s body, a mischievous grin crossed her face.
?I said don?t hurt it too much!? Ruby yelled, laughing and face-palming.
The Marill was sent soaring through the air before landing back in the water, upside down and presumably unconscious. Aoife ran to the edge of the water and tossed a Pokeball at the Marill. It bounced off its body, absorbed it and bounced back onto the ground beside Aoife.
?Oh c?mon!? She said, eagerly awaiting the outcome as the Pokeball shook and shook.
Didn?t want to secure the catch without permission so is it okay if Aoife gets this Marill?
Sylas crossed his arms over his chest as he watched the goings on. Baron ran up and stood next to him, anticipation written in his eyes. "I don't want to capture anything else yet." Sylas said to him, looking over at Vandal, who hadn't moved, "You guys are enough trouble. But once everyone's done, you can go fight if you want. These look like just little tykes anyways."
