Masters, A Pokemon RP(CLOSED) Chapter 7: Out of the Woods.

[Mookie_Magnus]

In his Rage, Baron was powerful. After a powerful swipe, Salad had been knocked-out cold. Magnus half-expected that he would lose this battle, as the difference in strength was quite obvious, but Salad did quite well for herself against the stronger Ground-Type Pokemon.

"Good job, Sy. You too, Baron." Magnus congratulated his opponents. He pulled out a Potion from his backpack, and began to treat Salad's injuries with care. After that, he did the same for Baron as well. "There, that's better."

Magnus sat down and watched, as it seemed that Brandon and Duncan might battle.

Duncan looked up at Brandon, "Ya I'm up for a battle, seems like it would be a good time," he held up the Pokeball with Nibbles in it, "Lets go."

"Good man." Brandon said tossing out Fang. "Alright buddy, our first battle. Would you care to make the first move or shall I?"

 

[Lost In The Void]

"I'll take that advantage," Duncan said, "Nibbles Use Supersonic!"

The pokemon reacted quickly blasting the Ekans point blank.

Fang began rocking back and forth in confusion "C'mon Fang, Wrap!" Fang held still long enough to leap at the Zubat and wrap it self around it. The Zubat fell to the ground taking some damage from the fall and the Ekans wrapped around it's body. "Alright Fang Bite!" Brandon called as the Ekans bit down..on it's self, releasing the Zubat.

Zubat struggled back into the Sky. It was slightly bruised from the attack by the Confused Ekans, "Lets scare it ASTONISH!"

The Zubat moved suddenly, startling the small snake Pokemon causing it to get tangled up in itself and fall over

"C'mon Fang snap out of it." Brandon called to his pokemon. The snake shook it's head and hissed at the Zubat. "Good job now Bite again." Fang lunged at the Zubat and bit the Zubat causing some damage.

 

[Lost In The Void]

"Damn," Duncan said. Zubat was looking wobbly and it wasn't looking good for him, "Zubat use Leech Life!" it wouldn't be very effective but it would get some health back.

Zubat latched onto Ekans neck and bit deeply.

Fang squrimed as the Zubat began to drain his health. Soon the bat let go looking a little better, Fang on the other hand looked like he only had a little bit left before he fainted. "Fang, Bite one more time." The snake coiled and lept at the Zubat, it's jaws wide.

Zubat staggered but regained its composure, "Alright one more Zubat use Astonish one more time," the Zubat darted at the snake, causing to jump and tangle its self up again, where it laid knocked out.

"Fang c'mon back." The snake disappred in a read light. "You did a fine job for your first fight." Brandon said putting the ball away. "Good job Duncan, It was fun."

Sorry Magnus I haden't relized the fight had dragged on that long. I'll keep a sharper eye out next time.

Once the battles had been had, the group continued going south. They reached a series of bridges that crossed a tidal zone on the shore. There were plenty of fishermen with their rods in the water. The cold water was still teeming with life, and the colder, higher-oxygen water had brought up some Pokemon from deeper waters.

Eventually, the group noticed that the ground was steadily becoming more and more rocky, until eventually they reached the entrance to the cave.

"Here we are... Union Cave." Magnus remarked, checking his Pokegear map. "You guys ready? Come on, let's get in there."

"I'm all set." Sylas said, walking through the opening. It took a minute for his eyes to adjust to the darkness, but there wasn't that much to see anyways.

Duncan released Ponyta out of her Pokeball and allowed her bright mane to light the area ahead, "C'mon lets get through here, I'm excited to get home, I know this way like the back of my hand, man I can't wait to get home."

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"Hey Duncan..." Magnus asked his friend. "I've heard rumors that you can find Lapras in this cave... Like, there's some winding waterways, and people have gotten lost, and led back to the way out by some Lapras... Is that true?"

Magnus followed Duncan's lead, as his Fire-Pokemon was their light.

 

[Lost In The Void]

"I dunno, never been in the deep caves, only brushed the surface of them, the water being insanely powerful and needing a Pokemon to ferry you across. One of my old childhood friends claims to have been rescued by a Lapras when he tried to swim the current. He's pretty adamant about it too, makes you wonder if it is true..."

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"Maybe we can check it out later." Magnus added. "Lapras are extremely rare Pokemon, I'd love to catch one... if at all possible."

As Magnus looked around the cave, he was able spot to a fair number of Rock-Type and Ground-Type Pokemon. There were Onix nestled against the walls of the caves, and Geodude amongst piles of rocks.

"Still, there's plenty of other Pokemon here. We've still got a ways to go, anyway." Magnus added. "Lead the way, Duncan."

Sylas kept a close eye on his surroundings in case some of the more aggressive pokemon decided to attack. They weren't really surrounded, but there was a definite feeling of being stalked from the dark corners. A few zubat clung to the cieling and just "watched" them, keeping their ears oriented on the group but not moving.

"I can see why people avoid caves." he mumbled. As he rounded a corner, he absently kicked a stone forward. It clicked forward and rolled under a much larger rock. A growl came from the crevice and an angered sandshrew emerged.

"I'm going to catch this one." he announced, releasing Baron. He didn't trust Vandal to just weaken it. The cubone squared off against the sandshrew, leering at it.

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"Quillz, use Strength!" Magnus told his powerful Typhlosion. Quillz grabbed a rock and pulled it to the ground, along with a string of other rocks. An Onix Screeched at her as she pulled it down, she then cocked back her arm and slugged it's face. The Onix was hurt greatly due to the difference in power, but it's Defense, and Rock-Type allowed it to hold on to consciousness.

Magnus pulled out an Ultra Ball from a pocket in his backpack, and hurled it at the large Rock Snake. As the capsular orb struck the crest of the Pokemon, it wriggled and shook, until it remained still. Magnus walked over and picked up the ball, and attached it to his belt.

"Good girl, Quillz." Magnus said, scratching her ears. "Good girl."
