Masters, A Pokemon RP(CLOSED) Chapter 7: Out of the Woods.

?Oh shit.? Aoife mumbled as her Snorlax stumbled and groaned in pain. He leaned over a little and gave the impression that he was crying. His eye then made contact with Aoife and she suddenly grinned.

?Okay Sumo. Whatever you think is best...?

The Snorlax ejected its full body like one of those seats in a Bond car. His stomach came crashing into the Houndour, sending it crashing across the ground.

?Nice body slam, Sumo.? Aoife complimented with a smile.

 

[Lost In The Void]

Houndour stumbled back dazed by the large Body Slam that had just occurred. "Houndour use ember!" The Pokemon began to inhale for fire breathing, but then slumped to the group fast asleep. "Alright it looks like you beat me this time."

Duncan withdrew his Pokemon back into it's Ball, and smiled, "You got some talented Pokemon there, and it looks like your gonna go far with those training skills."

?Yay!? Aoife cheered, clapping her hands and hopping up and down. ?Thanks for the battle, that Houndour is really strong.?

Aoife hugged Sumo and gave him an Oran berry before withdrawing him into his Pokeball. She approached Duncan.

?So, what now??

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"Alright then..." Magnus said to his newly formed entourage. "Let's go."

The group headed west out of New Bark Town and began the trek to Cherrygrove City, where they would stop for the night, and head out from in the morning. It would take a couple of hours for them to reach the Pokemon Center, but the weather was nice and sunny, and the temperature above freezing.

"It's a good day..." Magnus commented to anyone who was listening. The group continued to walk, reaching where the grass started getting longer...

 

[MasterSqueak]

Eric noticed the grass was getting taller.

"Hey, I remember reading that pokemon like to hide in tall grass like this."

"Yeah they do, if we run into any it'd be good training for your pichu." Mark said to Eric. "And probably my Combusken."

 

[MasterSqueak]

Eric shook his head.

"Nah, Calhoun's probably still too tired. I guess I could give him some milk, though."

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"We probably should have healed our Pokemon back at the Lab." Magnus said to Eric. "I saw one of those devices they have in Pokemon Centers that they use to restore Pokemon after battles. Oh well..."

As the group continued to walk, Magnus heard a noise. It was a quiet rustling, but it was there... Wild Pokemon.

"Look out guys..." Here they come." Magnus said, as the wild Pokemon came out of hiding. "Catch'em if you want'em."

Grinning at the opportunity, Elena plucked a third Pokeball from her belt, the only so far to have not seen use. She nodded to Magnus, gripping it tightly, and tossed the small orb.

"C'mon, Scraps! Get us a good one!"

From a flash of bright light, a Sandshrew appeared, stretching his rotund body. His claws were slightly chipped, but sharp, and glimmering in the anticipation of battle. Pulling his most threatening stance (which turned out rather cute) he faced one of the first of the wild Pokemon to appear- a cunning Spearow.

"I was thinking about what types of pokemon I want while I was on the boat and I decided I'd like to go with fire and fighting types so these ones are all yours."Mark said then looking at Eric. "But if you want I wouldn't mind helping you if your pichu has trouble."

Squeak, Yes you can haz Sentret. Yeah Aqua, the Spearow's all yours. You can't find Hitmonlee in the wild, fanklok... Disappointing, I know.

Magnus saw a few of his new companions get Pokemon and ready. Magnus took this opportunity to get in a little training for Garnet. He had her sup on some of the milk that Elena had given them and she seemed healthy because of it.

"You ready for some more training, Garnet?" Magnus asked the Cyndaquil. She nodded an affirmative, and stood poised for battle. Magnus picked out a good target for her, and had her attack it.

just because you needed a game shark to catch them in nintendos games doesnt mean there arent wild ones out there some where, it's not like hitmonlee was genetically created through splicing of jet lee's DNA and a machop's

I usually tweak some stuff around for what kind of Pokemon can be found wild. I'll think of a place where a wild Hitmonlee could be found...

Brandon smiled as he watched the rest of the group go out to catch new pokemon and sat o a nearby rock/ "Gah, cold, very cold." He said jumping up. "Heh ground it is." He continued sitting down. Jakc and Lilly haven't got any exercise in a while. It'll do them good to get out of their pokeballs He thought calling out his two starters. Both pokemon stretched and shivered.

"Gallade, Gall" It is freakin cold !
"Gardevoir, Garde" No shit, he should have named you obvious. Lilly said with a sneer.
"Gallade!" Well exccccuuuse me for it beaning a force of habit to point out the obvious. Jack responded with a glare.
"Hey now you two love struck Pidgys calm down." Brandon said as his pokemon began to fight. "It beats being traped in your pokeballs right?" Both of his pokemon looked at each other and blushed at the Pidgy comment but agreed that being out side was better than the pokeball.

"Good now how bout we get some training in?" Both nodded as Brandon set off toward a big log. "call me wen were ready to go." Brandon called to Magnus.

It was a short battle, for sure. A quick sand attack had blinded the poor bird Pokemon, causing it to shake its head wildly about as Elena and Scraps planned their next move. Reluctant to use a poison sting on a creature she wanted to catch, the petite Sandshrew instead focused on using his sharpened claws.

A few scratches later, the Spearow barely stood, balanced precariously on its talons. Reaching into Minos' saddle bag, she dug about for a Pokeball. Finding one of the red and white tools sunken near the bottom, Elena tugged hard and flung the ball in one fluid movement, demonstrating a strong throwers' arm.

Struggling to avoid the toss, the Spearow could only remain still as it was sucked into the Pokeball, vanishing from sight. The item wiggled about a little pathetically, before stopping still as though it were empty. Elena smiled, and went to retrieve the ball.

"One more for the books," she said in a chipper tone, before latching it onto her belt.

"Excellent work, Garnet!" Magnus cheered as she beat another wild Pokemon. She walked back over to him, and he gave her some more milk. It worked just as well as Elena had said, restoring a Pokemon's energy and stamina. Magnus pet the Pokemon's soft fur, and she brushed her face against him affectionately. "You're just as lovable as your mother. You ready for more?"

"Cyndaquil!" I'm ready! She squeaked happily.

Magnus found another target for her, a Pidgey that was preening itself.

"Alright Garnet... Use Extrasensory." The pink-red Cyndaquil focused on the Pidgey, and concentrated. She sent out a wave of Psychic energy, which hit the Pidgey and scared it. The Pidgey kicked up some sand with its wing, attempting a Sand-Attack. "Alright... Quick Attack!"

Garnet rushed at the Pidgey with all her speed and charged into it, knocking it out.

Eric released Calhoun.

"Alright, thundershock that Sentret!"

Calhoun complied, zapping the Sentret and sending it flying back into a tree. The Sentret responded by charging and tackling Calhoun.

"Pichuu!"

Calhoun was knocked back, causing him to discharge a burst of paralyzing electricity against the attacker.

Eric pulled a pokeball out of his backpack and threw it at the Sentret.

Ding.

Ding.

Ding.

Click!

Eric collected the pokeball before running over to Calhoun.

"Good job buddy, here."

Eric handed the Pichu a bottle of milk.

"That'll make you feel better."
