Masters, A Pokemon RP(CLOSED) Chapter 7: Out of the Woods.

"Your ready for it this time right combusken?" Combusken lept out of the way. "Alright then ember."

Combusken fired a slew of red hot embers around Starda.

 

[Aqualung]

"Quick, Starda- Rapid Spin, now!"

As the flames surrounded Staryu, it leaped from the ground once more, the flames skimming its many limbs. Hovering above the ground, it soared again through the air toward Combusken. With a rush of air it spun- almost out of control- with a threatening force at its opponent.

Starda hit Combusken hard, and Combusken went down. "Alright that's enough Combusken return, you win what do you want?" Mark said bringing Combusken into it's pokeball.

 

[Aqualung]

Elena raised an eyebrow, her face upon victory a little smug. Starda spun back to her feet, scratched and bruised but not broken. She patted one of its points- what might have been an arm- and clicked the button on the Pokeball which drew the Staryu away from sight.

"Giving up already? My, you'd better give that Combusken some serious training." Turning, she walked over to Minos' side and retrieved a bottle.

"Here- I don't need anything, really. It was just good that Starda here got the training." Elena held out the bottle to Mark. "Your Combusken could use this, anyway. Good match, though- a close call."

 

[fanklok]

"Combusken wasn't going to win that, all that hardening would've made his kicks useless and you had the type advantge, and thanks" Mark answered letting Combusken back out, and handed him the bottle of milk.

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"Well then..." Magnus said to the group of Trainers that had accumulated. "I think we should go ahead and hit the road. Cherrygrove might not be that far... But it's cold out. I want to get to the Pokemon Center before sunset. Elena... You're welcome to join us if you like. Unless you think that you can sell more milk here?"

?Thanks...? Aoife said softly, lifting Ruby up onto her lap and rubbing the side of her ear. ?Do you guys have any idea on what Pokemon you wanna catch next??

Elena shook her head with a smile, resting one hand on Minos' side. His body heat was wonderfully strong, and only standing near him helped keep her comfortable. "I was planning on moving on, actually- in fact, I'm not sure why I came her anyway. Population is a bit sparse, y'know?"

She turned to Minos, her expression friendly but strong. "What d'ya think, bud?" Elena patted him roughly. "Up for a walk?"

The bull Pokemon merely snorted, glaring at the group.

"Good boy!" She grinned, looking to Magnus, and nodded.

"Personally, I'm more concerned on evolving my Pokemon, than catching new ones," Duncan scratched his Houndour behind the ear, "These are my companions and I have seen many sights with them. If I had the opportunity I'd say a Miltank would be great to supply my own dairy products, the less I have to buy, the better."

 

[prinxess]

?That?s cool.? Aoife said as a waiter came back over and refilled her drink. She took a sup of it and then passed it to the spoilt but well trained Spinda who was with her head rocking side-to-side. Ruby wrapped her little hands around the glass and chugged it down.

?So, Sylas and Duncan, where are you guys going from here??

"I've got no plans. I just came here to look around and train. And maybe catch some exotic pokemon. I don't know what I'm looking for yet."

He put his fork on the empty plate and stood up, rolling his shoulders. "What about you?" he asked, both to Duncan and Aoife.

"I honestly have no idea. Other than my house in Azalea Town, there isn't much holding my to anywhere. I might travel a little, I haven't been much farther than my home town and I'd really like to see the rest of the country, maybe the world yet. I'm just going to sell my trapline to a broker and use the money to travel." Duncan looked at his cell phone, "Speaking of which, I should be getting to the Pokemon Center where we're meeting soon," He snatched up the bill, "And this meal is on me I insist."

He payed the waitress, and stood up, "Would either of you fine folk care to join me?"

?Thanks.? Aoife said, picking up her stuff and Ruby. She held her against her chest and they left the bar. ?I don?t mind joining you, I could phone home.?

Sylas had already reached for his wallet when Duncan said that he would cover it. Didn't I offer to buy it for you? He thought, mildly insulted. Then he remembered that he was nearly broke, and that Duncan was selling a piece of land. I guess if he's got the money. . .

He tapped Baron into a pokeball and waved Vandal over, then turned to Duncan, "Sure, we'll join you. But," he looked back at Vandal, "you can walk. It's about time you got used to the cold, I'm tired of hearing you ***** all winter." The scyther hissed at him, and turned away.

 

[Lost In The Void]

"Very well, but before we go..." Duncan pulled out a thick wad of 20's and laid five on the table, "I feel like making someone's day a little better," he slipped under a napkin, and walked out the door, leading the other two to the PokeCenter across the street. As he left he heard a squeal of excitment and he smiled a little before moving on.

He then sat down on a nearby chair, "He said he's be here in about ten minutes, either of you up for a quick battle?"

?Sure!? Aoife jumped with excitement. ?But I must warn you, my Pokémon are cute but they can pack a punch.?

Aoife then looked at Ruby who she had just let down. The Pokemon was stumbling, once again. She eventually fell onto her bottom and was lifted up by Aoife.

?Think you guys can beat this dizzy ole? thing? Haha.?

 

[Lost In The Void]

"Your Pokemon is higher lvl than me, but I do have a type advantage," said Duncan pulling out Houndour, "Your start."

 

[prinxess]

?Alright...? Aoife said before slinging her bag onto the ground, in front of her. She whipped out a Great ball and tossed it into the sky. A rather large Snorlax appeared from the Pokeball which landed back in Aoife?s hand.

?Okay Sumo, use yawn!?

The Snorlax let out a huge yawn which tired his opponents Pokemon.

?Keep it up Sumo, sooner or later she?ll be snoozing.?

"Damnit I hate that move," Duncan said as the warm air washed over Houndour, "Alright we have to make this fast then, use Bite!"

The hound jumped in the air and bit into the Snorlax's middle region, causing the Pokemon roar loudly.
