I just pray that the World of Darkness MMO they are making actually turns out to be a good representation of the setting, and not a generic MMO whose only distinguising feature is the licencing behind it. Also, I hope the DON'T use the new WoD and stick to the old WoD.

I'd like to see a Zombie MMORPG. It go something like this...

You start that game as another survivor of one of the few cities still standing after the end of the world. You choose which job (class) you want do for the city; Defender (warrior), Doctor (healer), Gatherer (thief), ect. Then, you are giving some armor, z-meds, and head out the reenforced walls. You then enter a world where you do what you can to survive: do jobs for local towns or travelers, try to find supplies in abandoned houses and towns, or just go out and kill every shambling corpse you see, to gather their tissue and liquids to sell to scientist still falsly believing they can save the world.
You'll meet enemies of every kind. From simple Shambling Zombie gophers and dogs, some higer lever Regular Zombies, to Zombie Bears and Mutated Zombie Brutes. But not every enemy has a Z in their name. You'll also meet raiding gangs, awol soldies, and normal citizens turned monsters by lonlieness and violence...
But fear not. Others will join you, helping you on your way. In a world where death lurks around every corner, you don't survive alone...

....made that up on the top of my head at 12:30 at night. What'cha think?

Any MMORPG where you don't live forever.
Any MMORPG where time played is insignificant.
Any MMORPG with no numbers in it.

One based around the Dragonball universe. I know there's one on the way, but it's Asia-only for what I've heard..

I always thought a mmorpg that is based on the samuri, that has a control and damage system kinda like bushido blade.... so it isnt all just click here, attack there... each fight is literally about life and death, that you need to have timing and skill... and instead of just having high level bad guys with more life, they are quicker with more skills etc taking the grind out of the mmorpg...also you would have life and death areas, so to start with, if you die, you wake up again in some hosiptal, cured and ready to go. but later on in the game, you have areas that you can die, you character being totally wiped from the game if they die. They can also sustain injuries, so if your leg gets sliced it may effect the way you fight (maybe not as quick, or change effectivness of stances)

also make for some wicked PvP, you can have the area where you only attack with sticks so you dotn kill each other, but you could also have the life and death pvp where you character can die etc.

Also I think a mmorpg, or just an rpg based off the dark tower series by stephen king would be cool.

Or a true survivalist mmorpg... based on any apoc, zombies, nuke, plauge... all good.... just one where you need to think about food sources, housing, water etc (which im sure people have already sugested)

most of my idea involve un-grinding the mmorpg....

I'm actually speechless. I thought it was going to be a link to the Elder Scrolls one but seriously... this is the best news I've ever had!

I'd like to see a racing MMO. Something like Burnout: Paradise but larger maps more car customiseation.

EA tryed a racing MMO ages ago with Motor City online but it had bad lag problems and they canceled its servers to foucus on The Sims online.

Well, for one thing, it needs to be an action MMO, no point and click for me thank you very much! For another thing, I was thinking of like a third person StarCraft MMO but I'm sort of confused as to how classes would work with that.

Mind you, this is an action MMO, and I'm envisioning FPS style controls except third person.
Theres a Starcraft MMO being made 'Starcraft Worlds' I think its kinda like that too...not really sure, haven't looked it up that much.

Pokemon, I think if it is done properly it could be awesome!
Pokémon MMO would rock to be honest, a large world, with about the eviroment design of WoW (ofc more cartoonie).
Also having each and every pokémon level up as ofc you level up to, end-game would be PvP focused after defeating 8 Gym leaders or so.

Would be really cool...

I'm awaiting Jumpgate Evolution now though :)

Did anyone read the Rogue Squadron Star Wars books? Well something based on that would be awesome I think. You start out flying training missions, move up to flying in a regular squadron in either the Empire or New Republic, then move onto flying in elite squadrons when you "level up". I don't know exactly how it would work but I just like that whole series of books.
